"Where… am I…?" Benedict didn't understand why he was surrounded by darkness, but weirdly he found it comforting and soothing to the soul.
All around there was darkness, but not the kind that came with the night, but rather the dusk within the deep abyss.
"This… can't be another test… right…?" Benedict said out aloud, unable to tell what was left or right.
Somehow Ben felt a floor below his feet, yet it wasn't a tough, solid ground but rather a soft substance.
From what little Benedict could sense of his surroundings, beside the simple black tunic and pants he wore, there seemed to be nothing beyond a metre radius of his position.
When he walked around, he found the soft ground would form out of thin air, removing part of the land that existed only moments earlier.
Benedict felt confused looking around to see only endless darkness, leaving him to wonder again and again where he mysteriously ended up.
