Because nobody had the guts to ask Elder Gathin to serve the papers himself, one of the younger librarians who were helping with the ceremony ran over to take the tray with the letter and let each of the lords reach through it, first given to those that opposed Casian.
While everyone read through the letter, Gathin looked at Casian, not knowing what emotions to express that the child had resorted to such means, but he also understood the child was doing everything in his power to secure his claim.
Casian wanted to apologise to Gathin however he knew now was not the time or place for it, plus he felt uneasy in the current situation as Kage had finally spoken to him.
'There seems to be a set of uncomfortable eyes on you from the crowd… they've taken a keen liking to your shadow as well kekeke…'
Just knowing someone might have caught Kage out already concerned Casian quite a bit, as he already wasn't sure about making it through the ceremony without playing some dirty tricks.
