"Beast Crystals can be used during the forging process to strengthen the materials but more importantly it can be used to empower the weapon during combat.
By placing the Beast Crystal at the tip of the handle near the crossguard of the sword for example.
You could carve the metal to funnel the energy from the Crystal but as of late I haven't been able to figure it out without creating another Beast Crystal which is made using the same beast's brain.
Similar process as with the heart, it goes into the forge and is compressed, however this time I've added the beast blood to mix with the Brain Beast Crystal, to create something I've come to call Crystal Blood Ink.
Using the ink to create the connections for the Beast Crystal, you could link it with the metal blade to spread the energy within the Beast Crystal to strengthen the weapon.
