"Leowoft wake up!" someone called up for Leowoft, shaking Leowoft's body to kepp awaken.
Leowoft's eyes were blurring which cause him unable to see, making himself conscious. Everybody besought him and start hear murmurs from the locals. Leowoft just started to ask " Where am I?" to them.
"You and your friends were lucky to survive the explosion." The headmaster of the travelers rescue unit said. "You must know the Lawareptus?" He continue.
"Who are you." Leowoft asked curiously to him. "And where was my friends were?" he continuously asked.
Suddenly, Roy and Murphy peek for him from the door, Their faces looks so worried for him. Leowoft was the only who was unconscious after the explosion.
"I need to get up." Leowoft said as he force himself to got up but he collapse. His entire body was burned out cause of the mask.
He heard some jabbering persons looking at him, laughing on his condition.
"He wad awaken!" The persons shouted, Roy and murphy ran through his room.
"Are you okay?" They asked to Leowoft.
Leowoft felt his body was covered with bandage. As he got up, he have seenthe headmaster who help him.
"It was three days since you have been catch by the explosion." The headmaster said. "We all thought you are dead and here you are, sitting at the floor talking face and soundly. Your wound unbelievably healed so fast, it just like critical to mild wound. So what are you? A man or a Lawareptus!" The headmaster exclaimed.
"Huh? What is the Lawareptus you have talking about?" Leowoft asked nice and easy.
"Those stupid guardians who wear stupid masks, their masks was like an animal's faces." The headmaster said.
"A mask?" Leowoft nervously asked, the mask that has given by the strange voice from nowhere.
"Yes a mask! You don't know what was a mask? It was a piece of wood who wear on your face! That was a mask!" The headmaster shouted, turning his back on them. "It was long ago when they heads up by the people in Reyatavat, they help people who was weak and hopeless like me when I'm just a kid. Then they just faded and scattered on the air and I realize: there were no Lawareptus to help, it was just our own who could help ourselves away from darkness. So, are you one of them?" The headmaster asked once again.
"I'm not, I don't even know what was that." Leowoft denied the accusation to him.
"And we don't even know you." Roy said as he looked at the headmaster.
"Leave Leowoft alone cause he was not a Lawareptus." Murphy said as he held Leowoft's shoulder. Leowoft felt the nervous from Murphy's hand.
"Okay then, I am just making it sure" The headmaster said as he leave Leowoft's room.
"Do two of you know a thing?" Leowoft rudely ask, holding Murphy's hand so hard.
"We do but we should discuss it later but for know we should get out of here" Roy rapidly ended the conversation.
They lifted Leowoft out the room, they were moving so fast like their in a rush. Leowoft just asked from his curiousity of what happening "Where is Jerphoty?" to them. They just ignore him heading out the headmaster's house. They hurry leads to suspicions of the headmaster and to Leowoft as well.
"Could somebody tell me what is gong on." Leowoft finally asked.
"Don't be so naughty, we would discuss it later." Roy replied by the incorrect answer for the question.
They didn't know that the headmaster was peeking from the balcony of his house.
"The boy who call them Leowoft was obviously know nothing than the two of those rascals" The headmaster thought to himself.
"I bet he was one of them too, hence, the second generation of them has reborn." The old man who met by Jerphoty when they will move out the wall said to the headmaster.
Meanwhile, Leowoft and the two of them was reached the wall whose broken.
"Look what you have done, Leowoft." Roy said as he show the wall to Leowoft.
"What? I didn't do a thing." Leowoft said, swallowed by eagerness of curiosity.
"Tell us, did the voice talked to you?" Murphy asked.
"How do you know about the voice?" Leowoft questioned Murphy, remembering the voice which the one who given the mask.
"We are all in danger." Roy said "We need a person or that voice to explain what is going on." Murphy said who worried a lot.
"What's with the mask?" Leowoft said.
"As the man said, you are now a Lawareptus." Roy explained.
"As you see, I can crush a rock by my single hand. IS THAT NORMAL!!!!" Murphy shouted, Showing them how he crush the rock.
They seen Jerphoty whose riding a chariot, he just stopped and said "hop in." to them.
"Where did you get the rig?" Leowoft asked as he get in the rig.
"I got it by the method called pilfering." Jerphoty said, making the horses run
"You steel it?" Leowoft asked with his eyes turned big.
"It was the only was I knew, okay" Jerphoty said.
Leowoft was shacked by what he have heard to him, he just sat and sulk on the corner of the rig. As they got away from the city by the rig. As they arrived into the other city called "Joyencore". They just stopped at the front of a bar. They got out of the chariot and examine the place and houses where they could whilst they would find something to eat. Leowoft and the others hung their masks to their belt. He noticed a man who wear a hood, staring at Leowoft and the mask. He just ignore it think it was just a psycho who want know us. They keep moving and got into a street whose no people who live in, it was dark and creepy more than a forest. As they se the man who was staring at Leowoft.
"Where did you get the mask?" The man give them a fast-ask question.
"FROM THE VOICE!!!!!!" Leowoft shouted as loud as he can.
"Follow me." the man said to them as he turn his back and walked.
"Why would we follow you and what do you think of us? Idiots? "Roy asked roughly.
The man stop walking and said "You'll regret it when all of you didn't" to them. they have to choice but to follow him.
As the man saw that they are following, the darkness of the street suddenly disappeared and the peoples can now able to see. At that time, Leowoft felt so bad about what would happen. The man get them into a room, dark and cold room.
"So explain to me what is that voice." The man said as he sat on the chair on the corner of the room. After they've been explain what happen, they reveal that all of them was talked by the voice which give the mask but Jerphoty have a different story being a Lawareptus. He have receive the mask when he was just 7 years old before his father died.
Jerphoty saw the fire Lawareptus fighting against a creature whose called the Marphatom, a sort of shapeshifter creature inside Reyatavat. It has big teeth, long claws and legs. And its mask whoosh anywhere as his mask was hitting by the the mentioned creature so sudden. It was dark and Jerphoty only seen their silhouette fought to each other. The atmosphere was filled with anxiety and nervousness who make Jerphoty himself trembling. The parts of the those broken mask flew on his wrist and made a hole. It was stuck on him and never removed until now, he kept it as a secret even to his father. And when the voice appeared, the piece of mask that stuck on him has been removed as it floated on the air and releases a blinding glare and it turn into a whole mask, It was re fixed by the voice without knowing Murphy and Jerphoty themselves.
"So you kept it as a secret to us?" Leowoft asked.
"By the way, my name is Broose: The wizzard of manipulation." Broose said "I am here to guide to your odyssey." He said as he removed his hood. Like the others, His voice was deep like a 70 year old man but he was just like Leowoft himself, it causes Leowoft and the others a shacked emotions as usually when people seen his angelic face. Their eyes widen, who could thought that a man which is a wizard has forgotten his childhood to become a navigator of those Lawaretus.
"Hey! Why those eyes of yours looks too shacked though." Broose exclaimed.
"No, I just thought you abandoned your self for helping some people like use.....you know.....ummm...for us to be not lost to our path that we have chosen." Leowoft stammered which gave Broose a rapid blush.
"Umm...I'm just doing what does Mumbuk meant to do by me." Broose said.
"Who is Mumbuk." Roy asked.
"He is the guardian of Reyatavat himself, he was meant to guide the Lawareptus which protect the Reyatavat, hence, he use me as an instrument." Broose explained "All I didn't understand that why Mumbuk have chosen some guys from Penalvafatuous?" Broose continue talking.
"What's with Penalvafatuous?" Murphy asked
"Penalvafatuous was mean Penalty for fatuous, at last, It doesn't have hole on the wall. It was a prisoner's place. Yet one of the Lawareptus broke a hole which made those prisoners escaped and now it was a city where people lived." Broose explained. "Anyway, all of you should make a name for your abilities." Broose continue talking
"A name" Murphy said
"Yes, a name that could summon your abilities. Well, all of you was born with strong abilities, the one you should name is the ability of the mask, It could be fire, wind, e.t.c. Even weapons that you would use is you need to name." Broose explain." And you must do a data." he continue.
"A data?"Leowoft asked.
"It must written on it where you from, what is your elemental power, and an oath." Broose response.
"All of you must finish all of it this morning, understand?" Broose said
"What are you? A teacher to command me?" Roy asked rudely.
"I'm a wizard who must guide you, and we wizards are not old like dumbledore, I had to younger siblings and they are young too, more younger than me." Broose explained.
They gave him a quick nod without knowing that tommorow would start their unknown quest
