18-year-old Kate Marsh sat in her room crying. Her eyes had black dark cycles around them. Her dirty blonde hair was the tide in a bun. Her eyes Hazel with a look of depression that you would see in the eyes of someone who was nearly broken. She had on a classy white top with an open black sweater over it. Hanging on her neck was a golden cross. On her feet was a white low-top sneaker. She sat on her bed feeling melodic. There was a crash from the other room besides hers. She looked up from the wet plans of her hands. Surprised and curious. She thought Victoria was a horrible person. Even still she felt worried for her. Being the kind Christon person She was. Even if Victora was a bully. She would turn the other cheek and cheap on her tormenter. She knew that if there was nothing wrong Victoria would routine to be her mean self tord Kate. She then heard a muffled scream from Victoria's room. She remembered a verse from the Bible.
Matthew 5:44 "But I say unto you, love your enemies, bless that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you."
She stood up. She would check on Victoria. As she reached the door. There was a sicking thump from Victoria's room. Kates's eyes widened. Her hand reached for the doorknob. She felt a heavy feeling in her stomach something was very wrong. She opened the door slowly. The doorknob clicked as it opened as she stepped out of her room about halfway out of her doorway. The shy teenager's hand shot up to cover her mouth as she let out a small scream. Her eyes widened in a state of panic. It was like what she saw in front of her was a scene from an horror movie. A 6-foot tall maybe taller, black hooded figure was walking in front of Kates's doorway. Stopping halfway as it tried to pass by her room, but that was not what frightened the kind-hearted girl. It what the tall figure was dragging behind it. Laying on the floor lifeless was Victoria's body was being dragged. Her neck was swollen and had horrible dark purple buses around her neck, it had a slightly twisted look to it. The body was limp and there was no movement in it whatsoever. The figure turned its head, tord Kate. Kate stumbled back. It looked like Rachel amber but it wasn't her. She was a foot taller than her. Its skin was an extremely pale white. with what looked like a mime from hell was painted on her face in deep black marks. The ghoulish person standing in front of her. Its eyes were white. Kate started to move back in a panic as the figure of "Rachel" whatever it was dropped Victoria's arm and started to walk slowly at Kate. Kate tripped on her blue couch as she was walking backward with her eyes locked on this demon. As Kate fell she caught herself before hitting the floor. Still crawling back in fear and disbelief. Kate wanted to scream but fear had taken her voice hostage. Her breathing was heavy. Kates Hazel eyes looking up at this person approaching her slowly. she hit the back wall near her bookshelf. Kates's head bounced off her AC unite as her back hit the wall. She could barely think. The Rachel she knew wasn't capable of murder or be strong enough to break someone's neck. At one point before Rachel disappeared she thought Victoria and Rachel were friends. Kate could hardly Phantum what was happening like it or whoever this person was getting closer. Kate put herself into a ball. Her knees were covering her chest. She put her hands up using her arms to cover up her face. she let out a small scream. Her eyes closed tight. She winsed. She heard the sound of combat boots crunching against the carpet. She waited and expected pain. There was none. There was a soft touch on her arm. That caused her to jump. Then she heard something impossible. It was Rachel Amber's voice but it was like she was trying to force it into a calming, soft tone.
"poor sweet Kate, please tell me your thoughts. Your hopes and your fears and know that through faith God will heal all your tears." The voice of Rachel hit her ears and Kate was somewhat relaxed. She felt her hand being held and then she felt something brush against her palm, softly, delicately like butterfly wings. Just long enough to feel the warmth and wet skin quickly taken away. The sound of a pecked kiss filled Kates's ears.
"Did she just kiss my hand?" kate thought to herself. she was about to open her eyes. she then felt two hands clasp her face. Kates skull suddenly burned with pain but not long. Rachel was witnessing her pain. There was a bright light that blinded kates sight. Rachel knew the sound of Jefferson's voice.
"Just like that. perfect." Jefferson proclaimed in a joyful voice. Next thing she knew she was waking up in front of her dormitory feeling sick to her stomach. She felt numb and very tired. She knew something bad had happened to her. She then moved forward in Kate's memory. Rachel witnessed all the bullying and harassment Kate suffered after a viral video of Kate making out with some guy at a vortex club party. Nathan was there. Rachel quickly put the pieces together. she saw the messages from her family. How they nearly disowned her and the kind words from Kates's Father. Then Rachel witnessed the last few moments. It was like seeing some tall ghoulish demon with her face coming toward her. Rachel fell back hard.
"Are you ok?" Kate asked being the sweet girl she was.
"Don't touch me!" Rachel screamed in a panic. soon Rachel came to her senses.
"I'm sorry for this." Rachel apologized and gave Kate a flick to her head. knocking Kate out soundly. She awoke the next morning. she was tucked into her bed. someone had carefully done it. She felt very warm and comfortable. As if she could fall back asleep. there came a pounding of pain in her head. as if her brain was slamming its self into her skull repeatedly. she felt at peace though. for once in a long time. She felt like she could face the day. Kate had not one hint of sadness In her soulm. She decided that today was going to be a good day.
