Chereads / THE INNOCENT WIFE [TEACHER OBSESSION SEQUEL] / Chapter 22 - CHAPTER TWENTY TWO

Chapter 22 - CHAPTER TWENTY TWO

"I'll see you next week, same time. Carla really needs her mom, the tension, the stress made her turn into something you can't expect. By the love of her mom, she slowly can change. That's what we agree that _ alright".

Later that moment. She read one of her patient files. The name of Janet Wiggum, age 6. Describing herself drawing something made her interested to see what the little girl draws on the paper.

A pitch black monster with red eyes haunting her parents from behind while they are watching TV in the living room.

Each drawing on the paper shows her exactly the same creature the little girl expressed. Was it an imaginary, real ghost or is she the one who caused the problem?

A psychologist at the University of New Mexico, says that an ominous sign that someone displays psychopathic behavior is when they commit crimes at a very young age, ages that are as young as 8, 9, 10. These children are more likely to display callous behavior when they grow up and might go on to commit heinous crimes.

Psychopathy itself is a trait where the individual shows a lack of remorse, is detached from emotions, and shows extreme forms of apathy towards human emotions.

Could this little girl be one of the Psycho killers?

"Yeah?"

"I need you to help me with this patient". She said on the phone. "I'm sure she is one of the psycho little girls".

"Send me her details in my email. I look up to you later".

Moments later, Belle closed her eyes a bit. Tired. Her assistant named Juanita enters her office, and she sees Belle asleep on the sofa.

Silently, she takes a seat. "I'm gonna killing myself". said Belle. "Would it happen?"

"You stress, Doctor. Care to share".

"I saw my dead husband standing right in front of me. But it wasn't him. He may look like him but he's not what he is".

Stare. "Juanita? Am I going mad? Mad as mad hatter".

"Nope. Because you miss him a lot. Having a wife of course you will miss your husband. He fucked you _ so? He died at such a young age while you carried his child and brought the baby into the world without their dad. You give your baby everything you can, and I lost my word to say more".

"Bitch! I'll get it. Just _ what if he's still alive? What if that Lee Herman is my husband?"

"Why are you so sure about that?"

"I don't know. Something good I _ guess".

Belle voice from higher to lower. Juanita lifts her eyebrows.

"You know what I mean. You were right, I miss him even though he'd do something bad, something cruel that I couldn't forgive him still _ he'd be one inside me".

Sighing. Belle spoke back. "There's a possibility he's alive. I saw how he died. Lee Herman is perfect and alive. That he said to me".

Juanita laid her hand on Belle laps, said. "Letting out your thoughts is better therapy than keeping it". She smiled. "Just letting out".

Later that evening. Belle asks Betty to pick up the twins from school as she is suddenly busy with the patient. Betty leans on the door, arm on chest. Her eyes look around the place until her eyes spot Lee Herman coming out of nowhere with a ladder on his shoulder. There is a tool belt clip around his waist.

He leans the ladder on the building then starts climbing. Betty watches him doing, hammering the wall with nails, and someone asks him to do so. Hanging the banners perhaps is what he is doing now. She watched his face closely.

Victor Gibson.

Maybe he's the one Belle told her and Rosie about him. The Lee Herman man who look like Victor Gibson the murderer.

School bell rang, and the student began running outside the building. Her eyes see Lee Herman quickly getting down from the ladder before someone bumped into it and got injured or he got injured.

He smiles as his eyes see the student running. Then two little creatures approach him. Vincent and Poppy Decker. Betty is about to scream the twin name from where she is standing but nothing she can do, the parents will stare at her for no reason.

She sealed her lips for a moment. Until the twin ran towards her in a smile.

"Betty, why are you here?"

"Your mother asked me too. She is trying to slutter herself around the town".

The twins felt disgusting. "Sleepover tonight that's why I'm here". She points at Lee Herman. "Is that him?"

"So you know. Guess mom told you that. Yup, that's him. Mom said he'd look like our dad''. said Poppy.

"It's yours dad. Not mine!" Vincent grit his teeth. "I don't have a dad".

"Awesome!" Betty and Vincent high five. "But still he is, you can't deny it".

Betty opens the door. "Your mom said before we went home, she asked us to buy groceries and dinner. Because she's too lazy to cook. Are we clear?"

Vincent and Poppy nod. Getting inside the car, Betty glanced over Lee Herman for the last time. He's still standing there smiling and waving towards the students who don't pay attention to him.

Moment that, he takes the ladder with him, notices someone is watching, he looks over his shoulder where Betty parks the car.

He'll see nothing. Betty drives her car before he notices. That is what the FBI job is doing, aiming your criminal then leaving before your criminal notice.

Betty smirks as she drives. Lee Herman shrugged though someone was watching him, resuming his walk with ladder and tools in his hand and on shoulder.

"That's so mean!" said Poppy beside the driver's seat. "Why do you do that?"

"I'm a cop dear. Of course that's my thing. You'll think". Poppy crossed her arm on chest. "Poppy honey come on. Lee Herman, not your dad. Don't do that face".

"I'm not doing anything. You watch him and we leave, that makes us a terrible person".

"Just you, not me". Betty laughs.

"Poppy? You may talk with him, have a nice day with him in school. That doesn't mean you want to change the fact or claim what he is. What kind of person does that? Not even your mom. Yes, the first time she met you thought he was your dad, the truth is he's not. We were there when he died, with that bloody bitch!"

Betty grit her teeth. Reminds me of the face of her school gym teacher. Veronica Bilson.

"Because of that bitch your dad died. Did she tell you anything about that slut?" Poppy nods. "So you two heard. Nice!"

"I think he deserves what he did to our mom". said Vincent at the back. "What he did to our mom, he had his own problem with being a slut obsessed with him. What did you get back!"

"No. no. Vince? If it were not because of him you two would not be born and meet your mom, me and the rest".

Betty looks over the rear view mirror. "Your beautiful mom, beautiful me and Rosie. Charming Sebastian and Tony. Damn!"

Poppy reached Betty's arm, said. "I'm hungry. Can you drive there".

"I know you will say that".

Betty shakes her head with a smile. Her feet hit the gas, as fast the car went, as soon Poppy would get her food.
