Chapter 15 - Chapter 15

6 Months later

The training and recruitment of people was going good, since Greg now had 6k people in his army. With this many people, you would expect loyalty problems since most wasn't summoned by the system, but that wasn't the case since the people who were recruited were people who were mostly poor people who wanted to learn to fight or slaves, and he even managed to get some former knights from Westeros since even though he wasn't their he still had connections there.

The Loyalty was high since who would bite the hand that feeds them, plus it was a better life than staying poor and paying taxes which they couldn't afford. So between paying taxes, staying poor never knowing when you might not be able to feed your self and learning to fight while getting free food and a place to live people during this time would choose the free food and place to live naturally.

Though one thing was that they never met Greg and only knew that their lord's name was Greg since before they believed that Aleanna was their lord and many were skeptical to serve a woman but after some time they learned that Aleanna is General under Greg which raised the question of who is the lord and how does he look.

As the months went on they always wondered who their lord was since they wanted to see his face, but they never did, so they just went on with training since they were promised to meet the lord once they finish their training.

Why did Greg not meet the new recruits well because he wanted to remain a mystery to the people and keep them guessing and wondering on who is their lord since even though his house was popular in Essos nobody knows Greg's appearance besides his closest subordinates and some merchants who work for him.

After 6 months of training, the recruits were coming along well in their training and this was thanks to the new skill that Greg developed which was Army Training. Greg didn't know he could develop new abilities, so he was surprised at first, and then he thought of all the possibilities since if he could develop new abilities than his subordinates could also develop new abilities which would make them stronger than they already are.

Army training is an ability that will make training people who are weak easier since it will boost their training speed and the effect of the training like their bodies and skills. Training people who are above normal humans will have the same effect as training the weak, only the effect will not be as fast or strong as training below average humans.

Greg had seen the effect of the ability one day when he was watching the soldiers train, and he had to say it was really effective, as in just a couple of months the former weak slaves and peasants has turned into very strong and skilled fighters.

And while not on the same skill or as strong as the Gondor knights or the Mamluke Royal Guards, they could still best a soldier from any of the Essos cities in combat since the skills that they learned were mixed with the Lord of the Rings and Medieval time Earth.

This combination was something that Greg had found to be perfect since the Lord of the Rings armies had great army coordination and tactics combined with the tactic from Medieval time earth and the weapon skills is a deadly combination. Though they could still be beaten since Westeros armies were a lot more organized than Essos since Essos didn't have knights and their armies while trained were not on the Level of the Westeros armies.

With these tactics, fighting an army bigger than them would be easy, plus the soldiers had great morale amongst themselves though there were those who didn't like others in the army but what could they do since no fighting was allowed amongst soldiers unless in a mock battle or training.

Greg had made sure to tell Aleanna that anybody who fights with each other will be thrown out. Now while this may seem stupid since they can reveal the location of the fortress, well if anybody is thrown out they will be followed by a spy and later killed.

While this may be cruel to some, it is a necessary measure to ensure the fortress location is secret. So far there has not been any people who have fought each other, so nobody has been thrown out, which was good since that means the recruits are getting along.

While John approaches the seventh month of training an army, he has encountered a problem since the amount of recruits coming in has been a small amount and at this rate he will not reach his goal of 15k to take Lorath, so he plans to go and buy some Unsullied since they could give a boost to his army.
