After another hour at her house I realized how late it had gotten, "Ah, I should be going" I smiled sweetly, I watched as her eyes grew dull then it was bright shiny pink. "Okay, just wait for me to call you downstairs, okay?" She gave a blank stare with a smile. It felt really weird and creepy, "O-okay" I watched her leave, leaving me alone in her room, just me and my thoughts. Of course, when I looked around her room, I didn't find anything until I saw a book or something under her bed. The book was pink with splats of red on it. "Bingo" I get on my knees grabbing what I think is a book but turns out it's a photo album. I flip through the pages, just her and her family but then there was a girl who looks like me with the name Amy, there were tons of pictures of this Amy girl. One of the pictures had hearts, with the words "Mine" on it, another one had the words ``Happy Halloween" with pumpkin stickers. The picture shows the Amy girl tied up, tears were going down her face, she looked terrified and in the corner of the picture, there is something sharp, maybe a knife. "What you got there?" I screamed, "N-nothing" I tried to hide it behind my back but she grabbed it out of my hands. "Oh my photo album, I haven't looked at this in a while" She hummed, "Um can I ask you something?" She turned and smiled at me "Who is Amy?" I watched as her eyes looked dull, her face blank, "She was a friend of mine, She kinda looks like you" She gave a monotone giggle. "Y-yeah, um what's up with the last photo of her?" I rubbed the back of my neck. "It was a Halloween picture, we had to make it scary" She looked emotionless. "Ah, I see" I smile nervously, "Well here" She gave me a blue and pink cupcake, "I was hoping you can share it with Noya, I think he doesn't like me since the day we walked home, which if he doesn't I understand, I was acting rude" I shook my head "Nonsense" I smiled at her, making her eyes lit up "He'll like this, Thank you for having me over" I walk downstairs with her, waving goodbye as I leave. "Noya!" I called out to him, "Hi snowball" I grinned petting our bunny. "Welcome home, Love" Noya grinned at me, he was half-naked. I sat the cupcake on the counter, "You're studying unsolved cases right?" He nodded, "Do you have any with the name Amy?" He struggled "I'll have to look" I grabbed the cupcake, following him into the bedroom. I watched him pull three folders out of his bag, he opened them, none of them was the girl I seen in the picture or named Amy but there was a girl with short blonde hair and green and blue eyes. "Ellie?" Noya looked at the case "Yeah, she was seven when she went missing. Her home was burnt down, her parents were tied up in the basement. One knows where she is, how the fire started, or if she started but I think she didn't everyone who knew her family knew she had a great relationship with her parents. This case is a mystery" I stared at the picture of the smiling girl "She looks so familiar" Noya looked confused "She does?" I nodded, "Who does she look like?" I sat down on the bed "One of the new girls at school, are the same case chosen every year?" He shook his head "Chosen at random" I groaned "I can't remember her name, Ugh" I hear Noya laugh at me, "Calm down, how long are you gonna hold onto that cupcake?" I look back at my left hand, I forgot I brought it "Here" I gave it to Noya, I don't really like sweets. "Thank you" I watch him get up "Where are you going?" I wondered "Take a shit" I laughed "With the cupcake? " I hear him yell back "Yup!" I studied the case of "Ellie", there was no murder weapon, the fire started at 4:30 in the morning. The last person she was with was Amy baker...Amy...I let out a small yelp hearing a crush from the kitchen. "Noya? Is that you?" I slowly got up calling out to Noya again, but I hear nothing back. "Noya..?" I opened the bathroom down he laid there on the floor, half-eaten cupcake next to him. My mind began to race, blocking everything out. "Come on, wake up, Noya, Please!" I begged. Then I look over at the cupcake, remembering Suki. I remembered the girl who looks like Ellie, her name was Ta, The Amy girl, It all points back to "Suki" I feel someone over my mouth and nose with a cloth. "Shhhh" They whispered into my ear. My vision began to blur as my head became light, I tried not to breathe but I can't help it.
