TIME SKIP:- *5 YEARS LATER*
Athanasia's POV:-
Time flows like water. It has already been 5 years since I would have resorted to the desicion of running away. I am of 5 years now. I, since that day, am practicing daily to build up my stamina to run away. Far far away.
Along with that, I'm also stashing my jwellery bag under a tree away from the castle. I at first, had decided that I would not form connections with people in here, and would remain cold to them.
I at first even used to make their lives difficult. But then, I realised that these people would retaliate me in the future and would even make it more harder for me to run away as well might drag me down in the future.
I hence changed my plans to be a bright sun instead of the cold moon for all of them. My bright personality, made it easier for me to form bonds with these maids who now allow me to wander off at will. If I remained cold to them, then this would have been impossible.
Its a good thing I changed my plans earlier. Really!
I get outside the Ruby palace and in the a garden near the tree where I hide my stuff. I was originally planning on keeping it in the palace but then I got to know that Lily was going to clean the palace along with the other maids. I can't let my stash to be caught like that!
Since then I have been keeping stuff under the tree. I ran for a while with my stash tied under my skirt around my thighs. Though it was heavy, but still, it was bearable for myself to escape in the future.
I soon arrived in an area full of grass and a big rosewood tree near it. It had many surrounding mahogany trees near it, but that one was the biggest. I came across it, when I got lost once. Seriously! Who would have thought there'd be such a beautiful place in the royal palace.
The area which I was talking about had a grassland surrounded by mahogany trees whilst having only one rosewood tree amongst all the mahogany ones. Though its colour made it stand out, but not as much as you might think because that rosewood tree was surrounded by Mahogany trees.
I don't know weather it's just me or really it would be signifying something, but, I have left this matter for an other time. I started walking towards the rosewood tree.
'I have to add this stash in my secret treasury. This is the task I have to do.'
As I started to walk towards it, I caught a sight of someone with blond hair who was sitting near my Rosewood tree. The place where he was sitting was exactly in the opposite direction of the rabbit hole on the foot of the tree, where I hid my stash.
Upon coming a bit closer, I saw a very keen image. The boy had the same cerulean bejewelled eyes. No way! The boy looked similar to how I look but his appearance matches the one that was mentioned for Claude. Could he be.... The so-called brother of mine who wasn't mentioned in the lovely princess novel?
How-how could it be?
