Chapter 6 - Ruined appearance

Throughout the complex manor and doorways, Ayla followed the maid dazedly. Her mind was a complete mess. And the last straw holding her was that she can never expose her condition. If they found out..

'These barbarians will definitely kill me' a thought flashed her mind.

'Just Amazing. Previously she was merely grounded in the mansion but now they might actually lock me up in a dungeon and torture me with all sort of methods. I couldn't even escape and now a bigger pit is waiting for me.'

Blankly following she bumped into the maid, who has stopped Infront of a room.

"Ughh 'Em sorry " she rubbed her head in exasperation. She looked at the maid's face and realized she might not understand her. Obviously she was a native and couldn't understand English.

Furad turned around and observed the little girl. She didn't know the identity of this girl but it gave her a sense of familiarity. The way Master treats her, she is undoubtedly important.

' She couldn't be from that clan, right?'

She looked at her forehead turning red from all the rubbng and walked to the side balcony in the living room. She leaned over slightly bulky body and ordered someone standing on balcony of 2nd floor in pakhtun.

In the dark night, the moon shining was extremely bright and focused on the maid's face as she stepped into the balcony. The sound of a weird language was the only thing heard.

Damn. The feeling of dread was back more than before, like she has transmigrated into a living horror movie. She was scared out of her wits.

The maid turned and guided the scared girl back to her room. The messy sheets, remnants of food and things she threw on the ground were all gone. A brand new spotless suite awaited her but she was in no mood to appreciate that.

Furad didn't know how to communicate. She went up to the closest and pulled out a new set of clothes and some towels. She put them on bed.

" Bache! (little girl) " she called her out and pointed to the bathroom, indicating she can take a bath.

Ayla frowned. At 2am in the morning, who wants to take a bath in the chilly mountains. She shook her head towards her and gestured towards the door.

'No thanks! You can go! '

Furad smiled. She stepped forward, held her arm and started pulling her. Ayla was dumbfounded.

'What !! If I don't go, you're gonna force me'

Just when she was about to resist, she found herself standing Infront of a floor-to-celling mirror beside the bathroom.

Her hair which she was always proud of , resembled a bird's nest with two dry leaves stuck on them. She forgot she stuck her head out in the car. Her forehead was red and swollen. She didn't know when she was shewing her lips in anxiety, and now the were all bruised. Her clothes were all covered with dust and her eyes had big dark circles.

'Ahh!! The ghost in the horror movie is probably me !!'

Suddenly her face changed. She was arguing with that man with utmost heroism and insulted him in front of his guards, all while looking like thisss. And he was so serious on my face, I bet he's laughing inside.

' Damn it, I hate himm!!' her nose flared and forehead bulged.

She huffed and snatched the clothes from Furad's hand and strut to the bathroom.

"BANG!!!" the door resounded.

Furad standing there couldn't helped but chucked.

'Silly girl '

A little maid came to the door with a tray. Furad held the things to Ayla's bedside table and covered it.

" Hadi Zaa ( let's go ) " she lightly glanced at the shut door and left with the little maid.

Ayla took a lengthy shower and cleansed herself thoroughly. A young girl always care about her appearance and she was no different. She wore a bathrobe , covered her hair with towel wrap and stepped out.

A clean and beautiful girl appeared on the mirror. Looking at the mirror, realization dawned on her that her little incident with that elderly maid distracted her mind from all her troubles. For a second she really forgot she was kidnapped and on a verge on exposing her condition. After a month of anguish, she was really tired.

' I'll think about it in the morning'

Sighing she walked towards her bed. A milky air wafted around her room. She peered around and noticed a cup of warm milk and a bruise medicine placed on the table. Looking at the things, a mixed feeling arose inside her.

'My parents never even cared for me like that. Huh! what parents??'.

She reached out gulped the glass of milk and applied the medicine on her forehead. Her hair were almost dry. She removed the towel wrap and tucked herself in. Before drifting to sleep, she had only one thought...

'Since Plan 'escape' failed, let's think of a plan B.'
