In Belmont Shore, Long Beach, Derek, Hazel, and Juliana are jogging in their neighborhood. Derek notices ahead of them are a couple of people looking at a house. He and the two stop as they reach them. Derek walks up to an older lady in her late fifties and asks, "Ms. Jenkins, what is everyone looking at?"
The woman turns and smiles, "Oh, hello handsome," she says, looking up and down at Derek's shirtless muscular body. "Please come to my place," she looks at Hazel and smiles at her slimy body. "You too gorgeous."
"Miss Jenkins, focus," Derek says, and Ms. Jenkins looks at him. "What is everyone looking at?"
Miss Jenkins turns and points to a flag next to the front door of the house. "A Nazi is living here," she answers. "The guy just moved here a few days ago, and now he puts up a Nazi flag just when the President of United States is coming to Los Angeles tomorrow," she says.
"I thought there were no more Nazis?" Juliana asks, and her parents and Ms. Jenkins look at her.
"Rumors are saying there are people that still believe in it or are related to the ones that were around a long time ago," Derek answers.
"I am sure there is nothing to worry about," Hazel says, and everyone looks at her. "It's just a flag; it doesn't mean that the guy would do anything to cause trouble. How about the three of us head back home and bake some brownies for our new neighbor?"
Derek looks back at the house, "Ok, how about everyone leaves? I am sure if the owner is home, we are making him uncomfortable." Everyone starts to make their way elsewhere, and Derek looks at the house. He sees someone in the window, then he and his wife and daughter start to jog back home.
Meanwhile, at pINPOINt Headquarters, Ashton is looking through some files. The phone on his desk starts to ring, and he answers it. "Lieutenant Watson."
"Lieutenant Watson, it's Agent Oliver Foster. I have something I need to show you."
"What is it?" Ashton asks.
"I am on my way to your office; I'll show you once I get there."
"Ok, I'll have Nozomi meet you at the front," he hangs up and gets Nozomi.
Thirty minutes later, Nozomi and Oliver arrive, and Ashton takes Oliver to his office. Oliver hands a file to Ashton. "This is a file on a person that we been following for a while since he arrived."
Ashton looks at the file. "This guy is from Germany, and I see that his last name is Burwitz." Ashton looks at Oliver. "Why are you showing me this?"
"This guy just moved into Long Beach just a few days ago. In fact, he is living on the same street as both Gudmund and Derek," Oliver answers.
Ashton looks at the address, and it's just down the road from their house. "Maybe I'll ask Derek to check out the place. As like welcoming a new neighbor, to try and see inside of the guy house."
The two exit the office and see the others gathered around the monitor. They see a photo of the person Ashton and Oliver were talking about. Maisie notices them. "Hey, we need to show you something," she calls to them.
"Oliver and I were just talking about this guy," Ashton says.
"Derek just called asking if we could do a background check on a guy that moved in down the road from him," Elena says.
"Well, what do you got for us?" Ashton asks.
"The guy's name is Adolf Burwitz, and he just moved to America five days ago. He was living in Dresden, Germany. His birth record is still in Germany, and I can't seem to be able to get it. But according to a driver's license that he received when he got here, he is currently thirty-two years old."
"How did he get a license so fast?" Nozomi asks.
"I guess he had connections while he was still in Germany," Oliver says.
"I think so, and the rest of the information about him is still unknown," Maisie says.
Ashton thinks for a bit, and he turns to Oliver. "Why did you want to bring him to our attention?"
"Because he might be part of the Neo-Nazis, and lately, the FBI has been trying to put them under full watch. So far, we have been losing some of them as they have disappeared."
"The pINPOINt Washington DC Branch has been keeping tabs on them. Why is the FBI doing the same also?" Elena asks.
"Because we believe if we manage to find a way to capture the ones that lead each group, we can put an end to them," Oliver answers.
"That could take ages to do," Nozomi says, and she looks at Ashton. "What should we do, boss?"
Everyone looks at Ashton as he thinks about how Gudmund does. "I think we should wait and see if he makes a move."
Later at Fischer's house, the family is in the living room. Juliana is on the computers, and she sees a message pop on the monitor. "Mom! Dad! Astrid just sent me a request for a video chat."
"Answer it, sweetie," Hazel says, and Juliana answers the virtual call.
"Hey Astrid," she greets her best friend.
"Hey, Juliana. I miss you," Astrid says.
"Same here. I see that you are on the plane," she says.
"Yeah, but we are stopping at Washington DC first before coming home," Astrid tells her friend her family's plan.
"Hope you get back soon," Juliana pouts.
"Well, it's going to be twelve hours until we get back home," Astrid says. "Unless our flight gets delayed or canceled."
"Hope you guys will be able to get home by tomorrow. The president is coming to Los Angeles tomorrow."
Astrid nods. "Yeah, we should be able to. By the way, have you guys been watering our plants?"
"Yep, and bringing in your mail. How's the homework my parents have been sending your parents?" Juliana smirks.
Astrid glares. "All done. Thanks for sending them to me."
Derek rises from the couch and pops his head in the webcam, "Hey Astrid, can I talk to your dad real quick?"
"Sure, Uncle Derek," Astrid says and turns around, "Dad, Uncle Derek wants to video chat with you."
Gudmund walks over to Astrid and appears on the computer. "Hey Derek, what up?"
"Down the street, we got a new neighbor," Derek starts.
Aurora appears on the screen with her husband and daughter. "A new neighbor? Got to make some cookies for them."
Hazel walks up to the computer, "All ahead of you, Aurora," she says.
Juliana smiles, "Looks like both of our parents are on here with us, Astrid," she says, and Astrid nods. "But where is Ryan?"
"He is asleep in the seat next to me," Astrid answers, turning her laptop to the side and showing Ryan sleeping in his seat. She then turns the laptop back to herself and her parents. "He really likes the first-class seats."
"So Derek, did you meet the new neighbor yet?" Gudmund asks.
"No, not yet, but he has this flag on his door that made the neighbors riled up."
"What was the flag?" Aurora asks.
"It's a Nazi flag, and I think he might be part of Neo-Nazism, but he just moved to America," Derek says.
Gudmund thinks for a bit, "Did you call Ashton?"
"Yes, I called Maisie, and they are doing some checking. They'll keep me in the loop. Should I have them add you to the loop?"
"Yes, and tell Ashton not to get close to the guy," Gudmund says. "In fact, I'll call him right now."
Astrid looks at Juliana. "Well, I am going to go, and I'll see you tomorrow afternoon."
"See you tomorrow, Astrid, and when Ryan wakes up, tell him I'll see him too."
"Will do. Later," Astrid signs off, and so does Juliana.
Meanwhile, back at the team office, Ashton gets off of the phone with Interpol. "Ok, they don't have anyone on the list named Adolf Burwitz, so he isn't on their watch list."
Oliver looks at Ashton. "Ashton, I need to make sure this guy isn't going to do anything illegal in this city."
"I know Oliver, but we'll keep a watch on him for now. We only gather clues on those that do illegal things. Sorry," Ashton says, and Oliver agrees.
Maisie looks at Ashton. "So what do we do now?"
Ashton looks at Maisie. "Adolf's now living down the street from Derek and Gudmund. I guess they can keep their eyes on him along with their neighbors to make sure he doesn't step over the line."
"Yeah, I guess that's a good idea," Oliver says.
Later, Juliana rides her skateboard down the street. As she gets close to Adolf's house, she sees Ms. Jenkins sneaking to the back of the house. She puts her skateboard in the bushes and follows her.
Ms. Jenkins went to the back of Adolf's house and started to take a peek into the house. Juliana went by her, "Ms. Jenkins, what are you doing?" she asks, and the older woman turns to the young girl.
"Juliana, you scared me. Why are you here?"
"I was on my way to the Thoresens' house to check on the plants. They'll be home tomorrow," Juliana says. "Back to my question, what are you doing?"
"I am spying on the Nazi to see what he is up to," Ms. Jenkins answers.
Juliana sighs, "Ms. Jenkins, my dad told you not to do that anymore. If you do, he'll call your parole officer."
Ms. Jenkins sighs and gets up. "Ok, ok, I won't."
Juliana smiles. "Good. Come on; you can come with me to Uncle Gudmund's house to check on their plants." The two leave toward Gudmund's house. At the window of the house, Adolf watches the two leave.
At headquarters, Oliver's partner, Noemi Martini, arrives to see why Oliver is still trying to open a case on Adolf. "Oliver, our boss asked me to bring you back to HQ. He wants to know why he insists on opening a case on Adolf. He hasn't done anything yet, and you want to arrest a guy because he might be a Nazi."
"It's not just Adolf. It's because of all Nazis out there. My grandmother," Oliver stops, and everyone looks at him. "My grandmother was a survivor of the Holocaust, and she was eight years old at the time. She was lucky to be saved from those beasts. She used to tell me stories about how she was in that camp. Her parents saved her at the cost of their lives. She was taken in by a couple and managed to make it to America. That couple was also Jewish, and they managed to escape, but my grandmother can still hear her parents and older brothers' voices in her sleep." Oliver enters Adolf's name on the computer and then adds Hitler's name. "Adolf has the same first name as Hitler, and if my grandmother knew someone like him was alive, she would freak out big time, like the time I almost fell out of a tree."
Noemi walks up to her partner. "I am sorry about your grandmother, Oliver, but we can't arrest a guy just because he is a Nazi. But right now, let's leave it be and allow pINPOINt to handle things from here."
Oliver looks at her and smiles, "Ok." He turns to Ashton, "Thank you for trying to help."
"Sure. Anything for friends," Ashton says as he walks up to Oliver. "Next time, call first, and we'll do some checking before you come." Ashton thinks of something. "Oh, uh, Oliver, Noemi, can you both come to my office for a bit? I need to talk to you both about something."
The two follow him into the office, and he closes the door behind them. "What do you need, Ashton?" Oliver asks.
Ashton pulls out a file from his desk and hands it to them. "I've been working on a case, and I have reopened two cases. The two that I reopened are on my late brother-in-law and my late baby sister."
Noemi looks through the file, "But Oliver Murphy died almost six years in December."
"And Aimee Murphy died three years ago," Oliver says. "I remember their deaths. The one that killed Aimee was Nils Gustafsson, and he's dead now. Her husband died in a car accident because his breaks gave out."
"But we have evidence Nils didn't kill Aimee. It was Nils's son, Nevel, and he framed his father. Then, Gudmund received this," Ashton hands Noemi a photo. "I took this from a DVD that he got from his late brother, Sigmund. It seems that Sigmund was investigating Nevel Gustafsson."
"I thought Colonel Sigmund Thoresen was investigating Klaus Krueger?" Noemi questions.
Ashton nods. "Yes, but it seems that Sigmund ended up moving on to Nevel after he found a connection between the two. And not only does Nevel and Klaus have a connection, but they have one with this guy too," he handed them a photo of Xing-Fu Zhou. "Last month on the twentieth, we came across him when he killed Julian Vasquez."
"Yeah, I was helping you guys on that case," Oliver says. "And a week a half later, we found his former boss' body."
"Remember how he said his partner had different plans? He decided to leave and not kill Julian's son or the son's girlfriend. I believe he is working with both Nevel and Klaus, but I think that Nevel may be the leader of the three."
"Why do you think Nevel is the leader?" Noemi asks.
"From my years of studying criminals, he is more of a leader. I am sure he is using them, but I don't have much to back that up."
Noemi and Oliver look at each other, then back to Ashton, "So what would you want us to do?" Oliver asks.
"During your spare time, see what you can do to figure out more about Nevel. All I can find is that his mother died when he was ten, and his father and uncle are now dead."
"We'll do it and try to figure out what we can learn about him," Noemi says, and Ashton nods.
Meanwhile, Juliana and Ms. Jenkins are on their way home. Juliana decides to walk Ms. Jenkins back to her house. Soon, they arrive at her house. "Oh, Juliana, I almost forgot. I have something for your parents. You want to come in so I can give it to you?"
"Sure, but is it something that'll get you or me in trouble?"
Ms. Jenkins smiles. "No, no. It's something I won, but I can't use them. I want to give them to your parents and the Thoresen's as well. Come on; I'll show you," she says.
The two enter the house, and Juliana closes the door behind her. Juliana looks around. "Nice place; I was expecting something a bit different."
Ms. Jenkins looks at her. "What do you mean?"
"Well, my dad says that you would have many special adult toys and adult posters around your house."
Ms. Jenkins rolls her eyes. "That father of yours may be a hunk, but he is annoying."
Then they hear something and look around, "Uh, Ms. Jenkins, do you have a cat or something?"
Ms. Jenkins looks around and then back to Juliana, "I used to, but she passed away last month. Stay here," she walks down the hall and turns into a room. Then, she freezes in place, "Who are you?"
The man walks out of the room with a gun pointing at her. He sees Juliana and points the gun at her too. "Lock the door, little girl," he orders. His voice is hefty, and Juliana locks the front door. He then leads the two to the couch. "Now, I am going to tie you both up, but I won't kill you…yet." He looks from Juliana to Ms. Jenkins.
Back at headquarters, Maisie rushes into Ashton's office. "Ashton, I found something you need to see."
The four walk to the computer and look at the monitor. "Adolf Burwitz isn't his legal name; it's Adolf Krueger, and he is related to Klaus Krueger. But his mother is a member of the Burwitz family. I was able to get some information from my former coworkers at the CIA. He is a wanted man by Interpol; he's done many horrible crimes."
"Nozomi, call your uncle and get us the warrant," Ashton says. "Maisie, call the LBPD and tell them that a dangerous criminal is in Long Beach."
Maisie's eyes widen as a video pops on the monitor, "Uh, boss, I got a video chat from Derek's daughter, Juliana."
Everyone looks and sees that Juliana is filming Adolf beating Ms. Jenkins. "That's Ms. Jenkins' house," Ashton says. "Call Derek and the LBPD and tell them to get to her house. Nozomi, get a warrant to search Adolf's house; take Chelsea and her team. Maisie, try getting into Ms. Jenkins' home security to keep an eye on them. She should still have the ones that the LBPD gave her once she got on parole. I know that Derek wants to keep tabs on her all the time. Everyone else, let's head out."
Cops surround Ms. Jenkins' house. Adolf checks the window and sees many squad cars. "Damn it," he turns to the two and walks to the couch facing them. He looks at Ms. Jenkins. "You, do you have some kind of alarm somewhere?"
"No, but I do have hidden cameras all over the house," she answers.
"Where are they?" he demands, putting the gun at her forehead. "Tell me now, or I'll kill you."
"I don't know. The Long Beach Police Department installed it. They put them in to keep an eye on me."
Adolf steps back. "Yeah, I heard about you. You were arrested twenty years ago for adultery, sexual assault, and sexual harassment. I am surprised you are allowed to roam free and be around kids."
"I am good friends with her family and her family friends, the Thoresen's." The house phone rings and Adolf looks at the phone.
Outside of the house, everyone waits for Adolf to answer the phone. Adolf answers the phone, and Ashton starts to talk, "Adolf, my name is Lieutenant Ashton Watson of pINPOINt. I want to know if the hostages are still alive."
"First, I want you to get rid of the police that is surrounding the house," Adolf demands. "Then I want you to send a sports car with a police escort to a private jet."
"First, I want to know if the hostages are alive," Ashton repeats.
Adolf growls and puts the phone by them, "Speak to him," he says.
Juliana leans to the phone. "It's Juliana. I am ok, and so is Ms. Jenkins."
Adolf rips the phone away and starts to talk again, "Look, Lieutenant Watson, I want no cars around, and make sure I have a getaway car. Make it a sports car and," he thinks of something, "I changed my mind about the escort; just get me a sports car and a private jet. I'll be taking a hostage with me."
"I'll call you back. Just do not kill Juliana or Ms. Jenkins." Ashton hangs up and looks at his team. "I do this type of job all the time, and now this guy is cutting to the chase."
Derek and Hazel look at the house, worrying about their daughter. "Ashton, keep Adolf busy. I am going to go in through the back and get him."
Hazel looks at her husband. "Derek, you're not going in there."
Derek looks at her. "Baby, I'll be back with our daughter and Ms. Jenkins. Just stay put, and I'll be back with the two."
Back inside the house, Adolf decides what to do. "Ok, tell me where your car is?" He demands.
"I don't own a car; I haven't driven a car in over twenty years," Ms. Jenkins answers.
Adolf growls out of the window and then back to Ms. Jenkins. "Fine. I'll take the neighbor's car then. I saw one in the back when I broke in." He reaches for Juliana to take her with him. She starts to back away from him.
"Don't touch her," Ms. Jenkins calls out and tackles him to the ground.
"Get off of me," Adolf throws her off and whacks her in the head with the butt of his gun. He gets up and holds his gun out at her, "That's it. I am going to take you to the next room and kill you there. Then, I am going to grab the girl and leave this place." He walks to the phone and starts to call Ashton back.
The phone rings and Ashton answers it, "This is Lieutenant Watson, look we want—"
"Look, Lieutenant, I want a car now, and I am going to kill this old woman here. I am taking the girl and leaving. If anyone tries to stop me, I'll kill her on the spot."
"Adolf, do not kill Ms. Jenkins or Juliana. We can talk about this," Ashton says. "We already are working on a jet for you. The sports car is on its way."
"No, I am not waiting any longer. Get a nearby car, and I am going to drive that one. Just get the jet ready for me to leave." Adolf hangs up. He grabs Ms. Jenkins by the back of her shirt and starts to drag her to the other room.
Juliana manages to free herself and jumps at Adolf. "Let her go," Juliana screams.
Adolf grabs Juliana and carries her to a chair. He ties her to the chair and grabs Ms. Jenkins. "You stay there while I kill this old bat."
Outside, Derek is ready to go into the house. "I am going to sneak in through the back. I'll take two officers with me," he says as the rest of his team looks at him. "I'll take Oliver and Elena with me, along with two officers."
"Be careful," Ashton says.
Derek, Oliver, Elena, and two officers head to the back of the house. Derek walks up to the door and notices Adolf broke it in. "Now we know how Adolf broke in." The five tiptoe inside and split up. Derek advances down the hall and sees Adolf dragging Ms. Jenkins. He opens the closet door and puts Ms. Jenkins inside. He then closes the door and goes back to Juliana. Derek sees Elena and Oliver coming up to him. "Elena, you get my daughter out of here. Oliver, you get to the closet and get Ms. Jenkins out." Derek looks at a photo of a young Ms. Jenkins and does some sign language.
Elena and Oliver look at the photo on the wall. "What is he doing?" Oliver asks.
"He's signing; one of the hidden cameras must be in the photo," Elena answers.
"Correct, I just signed to Ashton to call Adolf back to keep him busy. Once his back is turned, go."
Ashton gets the message and calls Adolf back. Adolf answers.
"Ok, we got the car ready for you, but the jet will have to wait. Instead, we got you a helicopter. There is only room for you and the pilot, so we are only allowing you to leave."
Adolf starts to think and walks by the window seeing all of them there. He looks around at the crowd. "No, I am taking the girl because he wants her. He wants her and all of the others too."
Elena moves to Juliana and starts to untie her as Oliver starts to help Ms. Jenkins. Derek walks up to Adolf with his gun pointing. He is not taking his eyes off of him, but just as he gets close to Adolf, Adolf hangs up and turns around with his gun drawn. "Drop your gun, Adolf. It's over," Derek demands.
"No. I am not going to fail this mission," Adolf snarls.
"Mission?" Derek asks, confused, "Who told you to kidnap my daughter and Ms. Jenkins?"
"The old bat wasn't on the list, but once I saw her looking through my window, I knew she would find out, so I came to kill her."
Derek still looks a bit confused. "What list are you talking about? Anyway, you are surrounded; the only way out is surrender or in a body bag." After a while, Adolf sets the gun down, and Derek arrests him.
As Juliana rushes to her mom, they all start to walk out, and Hazel gives her a huge hug. After Derek hands Adolf off to Ashton, he joins his family. Derek hugs his daughter and wife tightly.
Ashton puts Adolf into the back of the cop car and has the officer take him to the pINPOINt HQ. He looks back, sees the Fischer family, and smiles at them. "Ok, team, let's head back to base."
Later in the interrogation room, Adolf is sitting in the metal chair. They have been interrogating him for over an hour and a half. "Tell us where your cousin Klaus is hiding," Oliver orders.
Adolf remains quiet; he's been quiet since he got arrested. "Tell us what your plans were and where your cousin is," Ashton demands.
Nozomi enters the room. "Ashton, Oliver, I got some information for you."
The two leave the room and walk in the hall with Nozomi, "What you got?" Ashton asks.
"We managed to find his laptop, and it has a list of names of family members. Family members of pINPOINt, both our team and Major Irene's team," she says.
Ashton and Oliver look at each other, then back to Nozomi, "Really? Why?" Ashton asks.
"I think Klaus is planning something that has to do with both team's families," she answers.
A huge blast sends the door flying, causing the three to fall to the ground. As soon as the dust clears, Ashton gets up. "Nozomi, Oliver are you guys, ok?"
"Yeah," Nozomi answers.
"I am fine, but the door hit my shoulder hard," Oliver says.
Ashton walks into the room and sees that Adolf has exploded. "What the hell?" He looks around. "Nozomi, call Butch and Chelsea and tell them to get here fast."
The next day at the Thoresen house, Derek, Hazel, and Juliana are cleaning up. Hazel walks into the living room and sees Derek and Juliana cleaning. She smiles and places a hand on her belly. As she walks into the room, Juliana looks out the window. "They're here," she says and rushes to the door.
As Juliana reaches the door, she opens the door and sees Astrid. The girls run to each other and hug. "I missed you, Juliana," Astrid says.
"I missed you too, Astrid," Juliana says. She hugs Ryan as well. "I missed you as well, Ryan."
"I missed you too, Juliana," he says.
Derek and Hazel greet Gudmund and Aurora as well. "It's great to see you guys back," Derek says.
"It great to be home and great to see you guys as well," Aurora says.
"How were Norway and the funeral?" Hazel asks.
"It was great and sad," Gudmund answers. "Let's all go inside and catch up in the living room." Derek agrees, and they all carry the luggage into the house.
After Gudmund finishes telling them about the trip, Hazel stands and walks to the kitchen with Aurora in the living room. Once they enter, Aurora looks at her best friend. "Ok, spill," she says, and Hazel looks at her, confused.
"What are you talking about?"
"I noticed you were eating some saltine crackers and drinking ginger ale. A lot of them, that is," Aurora smirks. "I did the same thing when I was going to have Astrid and Ryan."
Hazel looks to see if anyone is nearby and turns back to her best friend. "Yes, I just found out three days ago. I am two weeks, and I don't know how to tell Derek and Juliana."
"This is great; I am so glad you are going to have another baby," Aurora hugs Hazel.
"Thanks. How should I tell my husband and daughter?" Hazel asks.
Aurora takes Hazel's hand. "Let's just go in there and tell them now." She smiles, and so does Hazel. The two walk back into the living room. "Everyone, Hazel has some news."
Everyone gives Hazel their attention. "Derek, Juliana, I got a call from my doctor three days ago. I am pregnant," she says.
Derek smiles and walks over to his wife. "A baby?" he asks, and Hazel nods. He hugs his wife. "This is great!" He kisses his wife.
Juliana hugs her mom and has a huge smile on her face. "I get to have a baby brother or sister!" Then Gudmund, Astrid, and Ryan hug Hazel as well.
"How far along are you?" Derek asks.
"Two weeks," she answers and looks at her family. "We'll soon be a family of four."
