>>Rave
I couldn't bring myself to go after Andre.
I had already betrayed him when I chose to go along with my desires and sleep with Calix.
"Rave!" Noel grabbed my shoulders, "Spit it out!"
I looked at her, then at all of my friends, but my gaze lingered on Jayce for a while then I looked back at Noel and sighed.
"I met my fated pair."
A loud gasp escaped all of their mouths and their eyes went wide
"Fated pair?!" The unity in their voice was quite astounding but I wasn't excited like them all.
I was just scared.
"Yea," I nodded, "That's it." I sat down on my seat.
"Wait, wait, wait!" Noel slammed her hands on my desk, "Who is it?!"
"It doesn't matter." I said.
"Why not?" Jayce asked with a suspicious gaze.
"Yea why not?" Noel asked .
"I don't plan on being with him."
Another loud gasp and wide eyed reaction made me sigh.
"Rave," Mia looked concerned, "Is everything okay?"
I nodded, "Yeah," I forced a smiled, "I just have my own plans."
The class bell rung but they all just looked at me.
"Hey," Carlos crouched down next to my seat, "You seem upset."
I looked at him and for the very first time I was envious.
Carlos was a beta which meant he can choose to be whatever he wants to be and whoever he wants to be with.
I looked away, "I'm alright." I caught Jayce looking at me silently.
Noel was about to say something else when the teacher came to class and everyone was forced into their seats.

Getting dragged into a secluded place by Jayce was something I was expecting.
He brought me near the storage room when school ended and then looked at me with concern, "Tell me,"
"What?"
"Who is it? And why are you rejecting him?"
I glared back at him, "Let's not go there Jayce." I sighed, "I already feel tired."
"Rave!" He grabbed my hands, "A fated pair is no ordinary thing."
"Yeah," I looked back at him while I held in my tears, "But I am."
The look in his eyes changed as soon as I said that, "Rave..." He stepped back, "Is your Alpha from the elite society?"
"..." I didn't answer him.
"..." He was quiet for a few seconds, "Rave, I'm sure a fated pair is different-"
"Jayce!" I was sort of getting annoyed, "Just stop." I stepped back, "I don't want to hear this from you."
"..." He licked his lips, "I'm sorry."
"I already said it was fine." I began to walk away when he asked,
"Is there anything I can do for you?" I stopped and looked back at him.
"I think you've done enough." I told him.
"I'm really sorry Rave." He said, "I never thought my family would treat you like that."
"It's fine." I looked away, "It doesn't matter now"
"If I knew something like that would happen I would never have asked you to go out with me in middle school."
I rolled my eyes and chose not to answer him. Everything became a mess when Jayce and I got together but it didn't stop even after we broke up.
There were other instances too and I'd rather not repeat any of that.
I think I've learned my lesson by now.
Lower class people and The upper elite class doesn't go together!
It doesn't matter what your relationship is.
I began to walk away quietly when something caught my eyes.
I froze when I realized it was a person and my eyes went wide when I realized who it was.
