I walked for about a minute and then lo and behold!
The Adventurer's Guild! The cliched building where all the other world adventures start,
of course, it begins with registering, then the ranks! oohh The ranks~
I walked inside while thinking those thoughts,
Oh! as expected,
It was a bar-like place, with a counter of foods, on the left side, a large board with quests I presumed, on the middle, and on the right was the famous receptionists onee-chans <3.
Yup, they're really pretty.
W-what!?
I got a little nervous as the others started looking my way,
W-what? Never seen a handsome man before? I thought as walked towards one of the three beautiful onee-chan on the counter.
"Ah, Hello pretty onee-chan"
"Onee-chan? Ah, hello, Welcome to the adventurers guild~ I'm Marla" she brightly replied,
humu humu, yup, they're pretty alright.
"Uhm, I would like to register as an adventurer."
Marla skeptically looked at me from top to bottom, maybe she's thinking I'm weak or something, well I can't blame her, I just came here from the other world after all..
After contemplating for a bit, Marla sighed and handed me a pen and paper
Oh!! a ball pen, how modern...
"Enter your name, hometown, and job"
Eazy pezz- wait, looking at the words,
I'm fucked,
I don't know how to write yet.
I can't understand a single word
"Uhm, Marla-san I-I actually don't know how to write yet, haha" I embarrassedly said
Marla's eyebrows shot up, and then she smiled, "It's fine, here let me write for you"
I hand over the pen and paper and told her all the necessary details
"Makoto Tatsuya? That's a weird name, You don't remember your hometown? I see... Commoner Job?!..." up till there she narrowed her eyes towards me, "...Okay, Then Makotoy Tatsuya, please listen carefully..."
After that, she explained to me the necessary information when it comes to the guild,
about the ranks, oohhh the ranks~
From F to S, how many is that F, E, D, C, B, A, S... Seven?
Then the request boards, she said that you can only pick jobs above your rank when you're an E rank adventurer.
Then she said, that there's an inn on the second floor, cheaply for beginners like me, and a starter pack equipment that can be repaid paying it later, so basically a loan.
"I'd like to loan one"
Then Marla went and picked up a bag under her table and gave it to me.
"Here, good luck on your adventures" She smiled brightly,
ah, that smile, though it heals my heart, and it's bright I somehow feel something lurking underneath it...
Maybe I'm just overthinking about it...
{Marla's POV}
Another one, like those country bumpkins huh... Good luck, I hope you won't die early.
