Madeline's POV
I felt my husband stood up from our bed as I can feel the mattress moved, but I feel so tired that I couldn't even open my eyes, maybe because of what happened yesterday, and I am just so glad that he made me feel secure and so happy last night. Later, I can hear the dripping of the water from the shower, and I know that he is taking a bath. I can listen to Hunter's footsteps around our room, and when I try to open my eyes, I saw him dressing up with his business suit, and he looked so formal now and intimidating compared to yesterday. I want to stand up and help him to put on his necktie, but I want to watch him do his things without my help, and I love watching him secretly. And I quickly close my eyes again when I feel him move closer to the bed.
