Corwin hopped off his board and joined the men standing in front of the RV.
With a careless flick of his hand, the hoverboard shrank to a tiny wedge and disappeared into one of his pockets.
"Let's hope he disappears for good." Corwin muttered.
Tomas, the short squat man shook his head with some regret.
"He's not going to be gone for long if all Louis did was send him to the Shadow Realm. His father is a frequent visitor of that place."
Louis harrumphed and threw his spent cigarette butt to the ground, grinding it with his shoe.
"Then he can get his father to rescue him. Paaahhh!!!" He spat. "I can't stand the Rashak brats myself."
"You know him?" Corwin gave him a sidelong glance.
The tall swarthy dark-haired man sniffed. "Of course. I taught his father the dark arts of necromancy. I knew his sons although at the time I was teaching, they were too young to join my classes."
