The smile died on her face.
He didn't just shed a few tears. He was sobbing as if his heart was broken into a million pieces--as if his beloved had just perished in some tragic accident.
His shoulders shook with the intensity of his emotions and the desperate anguished sounds of his weeping echoed throughout the room.
Two men who had come to visit her had cried. Why were they so sad? Was she stricken with some terminal illness?
"Your Majesty," the tall gaunt man touched the crying man on the shoulder. "She has been experiencing full amnesia. I understand you are upset but please—"
"Please what?" The blue-haired man choked out. His weeping eyes were tortured and rage-filled.
The tall man looked away, his mouth mumbling something intelligible. But then he spoke up with more conviction. "Please do not treat her unkindly. She does not remember anything from before the procedure."
