The shadows of a marionette projected onto the red and purple walls.
It danced and jerked along to the sounds of the distant drums and the tootling of a reed flute.
Thunder clapped and lightning sizzled.
The marionette flailed in the wind and the rain. A tree branch flew towards the marionette, whacking it on the head.
It jerked and floundered.
A sudden tidal wave roared through and swallowed the marionette into its dark maws. When it receded, the marionette had disappeared.
"Father. Stop playing with your dolls. We have a big problem." Marcus fumed.
"Leave me alone, you imbecile runt. I gave you the master plan with enough power to carry it out. Stop bothering me with every tiny hiccup."
"Father. Your second son just died at the hands of your brother. That is hardly a hiccup!"
Alastaire Rashak growled and threw down his marionette.
