Caleb P.O.V
3 days had passed since I had met Aidan's siblings, and today was the day we left for the group trip. Though the area we were visiting was closer than others, we still had to fly there, considering we didn't live close enough to be able to drive. We'd packed our bags, and the flight was in a couple of hours, so we decided to leave early for the airport since we needed to get through security and all that.
"Babe, do we really have to leave now? It's three in the morning,", I groaned, placing a hand on my steadily growing stomach as we stood in the elevator, going down to the living room. My back ached, and I had been up for quite a while with "morning" sickness, so I wasn't feeling the best.
"I'm sorry, love, but we do,", Aidan soothed, rubbing my back with one hand, the other holding onto one of our suitcases. "Everyone wanted to leave early so that we weren't late, and also so that we didn't have to rush you to the airport,"
"As sweet as that is, I'd rather be rushed in the airport than dragged out of my comfortable bed at the witching hour,", he chuckled at my comment before moving his hand, hearing the elevator ding as it signalled we'd reached the bottom level of the dorms. He grabbed a suitcase handle in each hand, walking out in front of me as I lagged behind a little, rubbing my eyes.
Though it was early, everyone was up and ready to leave, all split off into their groups as they discussed what they were going to do while we were away and how excited they were. Ry and Jordan, upon noticing us, walked our way, Ry waving with a bright smile as Jordan looked slightly less awake, grumbling under his breath as he followed his lively boyfriend, pushing the pairs' suitcases.
"Morning, guys!", Ry chirped, waving at us.
"Morning,", I yawned, leaning my head on Aidan's shoulder. He smiled and put an arm around my shoulder, allowing me to sink further into his body as I closed my eyes.
"Morning, Riley. Sorry about Caleb, he's a little tired since his morning sickness had him up most of the night,", he told the lively boy, who sent a look of sympathy my way upon hearing this. I offered a weak smile, eyes fluttering closed a few times as I tried to stay awake at least until we got on the plane.
"Aw, poor guy! But we've got the bus being collected by Matthew, so he can get a nap in. I know someone else who'll be doing the same,", Ry chuckled, pointing towards Jordan, who was standing behind the boy, arms around his waist as he rested his head on the other boy's neck.
"Oh shush. Your dumb ass was up playing Minecraft so I couldn't sleep,", the three of us laughed at the grouchy blond's grumbling and continued with some idle chatter for a few minutes more, before someone began yelling.
"Everyone, it is now time to leave! Gather your things and we will start to head out to the bus,", Matthew's voice hollered as he walked around, doing his usual hand movements. Everyone followed his instructions, grabbing their bags and walking out in small groups to the bus we had borrowed from the school.
Matthew, being the most responsible of all of us and having permission, would be driving us to the airport and leaving the bus there for the week we were away. Aidan had offered to drive on the way back to give him a break, and that's now what's happening, meaning I'll stay with Jordan and Ry on the way back, sitting near the front of the bus because of my sickness.
"Come on, babe. You can sleep on the bus, I promise,", Aidan prompted, pulling my suitcase along with his as he started walking out of the door, pausing when he noticed I wasn't right behind him. "You coming?", snapping out of my daze, I nodded and jogged to his side, opening the door for him as we both slipped out and joined the group.
"Honest to God, I'm ready to sleep for the next three years. Maybe then the back pain will go away,", I groaned, moving a hand to support my back as the other went to the bottom of my stomach, attempting to alleviate some of the pressure. Sighing, he took a moment to hoist the suitcases into the bottom of the bus before moving to my side, hand going next to mine on my lower back and helping me onto the bus.
"You're carrying twins, darling. I know it's early on, but it's probably normal for you to have back pain,", I pouted at his words, and he laughed, putting his arm around my shoulder as we sat down at the front of the bus, right across from Ry and Jordan. "If you want, I can give you a massage once we're at the hotel,"
"That sounds perfect. Thank you, babe,", I pushed myself up slightly to plant a kiss on his cheek before sinking back down into my seat and resting my head on his shoulder, letting out a yawn as I closed my eyes. "I'm going back to sleep, okay? Please don't wake me up unless the bus has crashed or we're at the airport,"
"Alright, love. Rest well,", he whispered, brushing some hair out of my face and kissing the top of my head as I drifted to sleep.

"Jeez, man. He went out like a light,", Riley commented, motioning towards Caleb, who was flat out on my shoulder almost as soon as he put his head down. "I'm shocked his morning sickness hasn't gone away yet, though. How far along is he now? Almost five months?", I nodded and glanced down, my hand rhythmically rubbing his stomach as he slept.
"Yeah. We're supposed to be going back for a second scan when we get back, actually. They're gonna tell us the gender,", the thought of knowing the genders of my children was amazing; I couldn't wait to know whether I was going to be having sons or daughters. I would be happy to have either, though, and it seems like Caleb would be, too.
"Oh my god, I can't wait to know! Jordan and I have been dying to go and do some baby shopping for the two of you. Right, babe?", Riley chirped, nudging his half-asleep boyfriend. The blond male grunted at the force he used but nodded before settling down and nuzzling himself back into his boyfriend's side.
"I'm sure Cal wouldn't mind the two of you tagging along to the appointment. If you wanted to, of course?", I suggested, looking between my two friends. They both shared a look before turning back to me, with wide smiles on their faces.
"Yes! I need to know the gender of these brats so that I can spoil the shit out of them,", Jordan chimed in, his smile shifting to a smirk. I laughed nervously, silently praying he was joking, though I didn't doubt he'd be a smothering uncle.
"Wait! Can we throw a baby shower as a surprise for Caleb? It'll cheer him up at least a little, and distract him from his morning sickness for a while,", Riley proposed, looking towards the sleeping boy sympathetically. Jordan nodded, and I contemplated the suggestion for a minute or two.
"I think he'd love that, actually. Should we tell everyone else of your idea later?", he was about to reply but was cut off by the sound of someone shouting from the front of the vehicle, the voice familiar to all of us.
"Quiet down, everyone! We're arriving at the airport!", Matthew announced, parking the bus near the entrance of the airport, much to our delight. Everyone began giggling and squealing, all excited to be one step closer to their week away on the beach. "Can everyone please leave the bus in an orderly manner and begin to collect their luggage,"
"Caleb, love, it's time to wake up. We're at the airport,", I whispered, gently shaking his shoulder for a moment before he opened his eyes tiredly, looking up at me in confusion. "Morning. Are you gonna be alright to get off the bus, or do you need a minute?", I stroked his cheek, smiling as he leaned into my hand.
"I'll be fine,", he yawned out, stretching his arms. "But can we go to the bathroom when we're inside? I really need to pee,", laughing, I nodded and stood up, moving into the aisle and allowing him to shuffle outwards so he could stand. He did so but wobbled slightly, and my hands reached to grab his arms, eyes filling with concern.
"Are you alright, Caleb? You seem a little wobbly,", I expressed my worry, watching as he gave a small smile and steadied himself before leading me off of the bus.
"It's totally normal, babe. I read up on it, and dizzy spells are normal. I'll be fine once I get a little more sleep on the plane, I promise,", he reassured, slowly easing himself down the stairs and meeting with the rest of the group, who were already off of the bus and sifting through the bags to find theirs. "Should we go get the suitcases?"
"I'll get the suitcases. You stand here and relax, okay? I'll be back in a minute,", he huffed playfully but shrugged, allowing me to go and grab the suitcases. Finding them fairly fast, I was back at Caleb's side within two minutes, and the whole group soon piled into the airport, everyone rushing to hand in their luggage so that they could go and browse the shops. We did the same before flopping onto two of the airport chairs, exhausted.
"Damn, sitting down feels so good. My legs have been cramping for the past half hour,", he sighed, stretching his legs out before jumping up and scanning the area. "Where's the bathroom? I forgot I needed to pee,", he whined, running to the bathroom as soon as he spotted it.
"Caleb, wait up!", I hollered, following behind him to make sure I didn't lose him. Pausing, he looked back at me and stood still until I had reached his side. Then, he began walking again. "Jesus, you run fast,"
"I need to pee,", he shrugged, finally reaching the entrance of the bathroom and going in, finding his way to one of the few stalls as I waited outside the entrance, messaging Riley so that he knew where we were. Caleb emerged a minute or so later, smiling happily. "Okay, I'm fine now. Can we have a look in the shops for a neck pillow? I really just wanna sleep on the plane,"
"Sure, love. I need a book to read while we fly, so we'll go grab that stuff and then get you something to eat,", he nodded, and we made our way to one of the airport shops, browsing until we found the things we wanted. Then, we headed to one of the restaurants, finding our entire class already sat down, with two free seats next to Riley and Jordan. "Shall we join them?"
"Please,", he laughed, bouncing happily over to the table and seating himself beside Riley, Jordan patting the seat next to him for me. I smiled and joined him, allowing my feet to rest after all the walking we had done. "Have we ordered yet?"
"Yep! We ordered you some waffles and Aidan some pancakes. I made sure to get you some iced tea, as well,", Riley informed, grinning ear to ear. Caleb shared that look, his face glowing although it was only 5 am.
"Where were you idiots, anyway? You just wandered off,", Jordan grunted, slouching further in his seat. Tapping on the table tiredly, I allowed Caleb to explain everything, him and Riley seeming to enjoy whatever conversation they were having.
Food eventually arrived at the table, and everyone ate quickly, knowing we had to board our flight in half an hour. Things moved fast from then; everyone began going to the bathroom and checking to make sure they had their passports and boarding passes to hand, as we needed to be getting on the plane quickly to make sure the whole class could be situated and keep Matthew from passing out due to his exaggerated stress levels.
"Have you got the passports?", Caleb asked, looking at the list he had made on his phone. I checked my bag before nodding. "Wallets?", I nodded again. "Reading glasses? Your phone? We can buy snacks or drinks on the plane, and the laptop charger is in the suitcase. Oh my god, did we pack my vitamins?"
I cut his rambling off by pressing my lips to his, sharing a gentle kiss with him before pulling away and ruffling his hair. "Stop panicking, my love. Everything we need, we've packed. And if not, we can buy it when we get there, okay?", he heaved out a breath, his shoulders sagging as he nodded, looking up at me with his hazel eyes staring up at me, resembling a doe's. I laughed and pressed a kiss to his forehead, my arm wrapping around his lower back. "Good. Now let's get to our terminal to board, or Matthew might just kill us,"
"Good idea,", he giggled, pulling me along to the terminal. I grabbed the passports and boarding passes out of my bag as we reached the desk, and the woman gave us a sweet smile when she noticed Caleb resting a hand on his bump lovingly.
"You're an adorable couple. Are you expecting?", she beamed as she scanned the boarding passes.
"Thank you. And yeah, he's almost five months along,", I replied, taking the items back once she had finished.
"Congratulations! Have a nice holiday, and if you need anything on the plane then just tell my colleagues, they'll be more than happy to help,", we nodded and thanked her before walking away, and boarding the plane. We found our seats fairly quickly, being seated at the front of the plane, meaning we had a little more space. Riley and Jordan sat across from us, both waving when they spotted us sitting down.
"Are you excited? I can't wait to relax a little!", Riley sighed, leaning back into his seat.
"I know! Maybe a bit of sun will do us all some good,", Caleb commented, looking down at his pale, freckled skin. I placed my hand over his, and he glanced up happily, leaning up to kiss my cheek. "And I can't wait to spend more time with my favourite person, either,"
"Hey!", Riley whined. "I thought that was me!"
"Uh, you're tied?", he stuttered.
"Sure,", he huffed out, the three of us laughing at his quick mood change.
