Gideon glanced at her before he veered his eyes and said to the waiter beside him, "Get her a glass of lemon water."
"Yes, Sir."
Freya felt moved by his kind gestures. However, she could not help feeling it was out of character for him to do this.
Not before long, the waiter came over with the lemon water. Freya drank quietly as she wondered what the man was up to. Since she was unsure what he wanted, she said nothing.
The food was sent over shortly. Freya glanced at the food on the table. Every single dish looked novel to her.
The woman could not resist saying in amazement, "The food here certainly looks exquisite."
Gideon glanced at her and smiled mockingly.
Freya pursed her lips without saying a word.
She picked up the cutlery and did not know where to start. She glanced at Gideon before doing as he did.
