Gideon could already tell someone was home before he opened the door. When he opened the door, he happened to see Freya anxiously running upstairs.
He closed the door softly and stood at the entrance as he quietly watched her dart upstairs, return to her room and close the door behind her.
Did she have to run off so anxiously and hide in her room?
Gideon could naturally smell the food in the dining room.
He walked over to the dining room and looked at the food on the table.
The plates of food were neatly placed on the dining table and covered to keep them warm.
The man reached his hand out and opened the lids on a couple of dishes. The food looked good and was still piping hot.
He suddenly felt a little bad.
He frowned as he covered the food back up and turned to go upstairs.
When Gideon got upstairs, he stood at the staircase and suddenly did not know which way to go.
