Gideon picked up the menu and glanced at the food before he said, "Does it have anything to do with me?"
Kieran was speechless.
Gideon did not even bother to look up at Kieran. Instead, he waved the waiter over to order food.
Kieran was on the verge of crying. "Gideon, I asked Ms. Taylor to invite your wife over to join us for dinner so that you could chat. Now, you are making me feel as though it was a waste of my time."
Gideon glanced at Kieran as he ordered. "What do you mean?"
Kieran looked at Gideon unhappily. "You are acting as though it has nothing to do with you."
After Gideon was done ordering dinner, he handed the menu to the waiter. He looked at Kieran and said, "She is your date, so it naturally is none of my business."
Kieran stood up and said, "I've made Ms. Taylor angry. You know exactly who I did it for."
