Freya was briefly stunned before she finally pushed the man away.
She lowered her head and anxiously left.
However, the man had no intention of letting her go. He walked around Freya and cut her off in her path.
The handsome man raised an eyebrow and smiled profoundly. "Freya, long time no see."
Freya lowered her head without saying a word.
The man smiled without restraint. "I just saved you. Are you not even going to thank me?"
She raised her head and said softly, "Thanks."
The moment she finished her sentence, she wanted to go.
However, the man refused to let her leave. He quickly followed behind her and said, "Is that all? It does not sound sincere to me at all."
Freya looked up at him. She acted cold just like Gideon and said, "Then what do you want from me, Mr. Thompson?"
"Call me by my first name."
Freya shrugged. "Luke."
The moment she finished her sentence, she decided to run off altogether.
