"Get out, bitch!" The man holding the gun hissed in pain. He cursed and shot at Abigail.
Abigail seized the slow reaction of her opponent, kicking him hard on his numb arm, then turned and ran.

A gunshot echoed behind her. Fortunately, the opponent's aim was off due to the earlier hit. She narrowly avoided the bullet but ran straight into Jeffrey.
He pulled her behind him. "Abigail, are you okay? Are you hurt?"
Abigail shook her head quickly.
People from the nearby villa heard the commotion and rushed over.
The assassin realized he was exposed and stopped entangling with them. He fled through the back door of the villa.
Abigail let out a long sigh of relief as she caught the strong smell of alcohol from her senior. Guilt flashed in her eyes. "Are you okay? Who was that just now?"
