On the other hand, I noticed that Chloe's eyes went heavenward when Rico and Harvey expressed their thoughts about the situation.
Obviously, she was unhappy after hearing what the two guys has to say. After all, one thing she did not like was whenever someone was trying to contradict her idea.
"You two, where did your balls go? When did you guys turn this soft? Over this girl? Seriously? Not to mention, a mortal, at that. Come on, you could do better."
She said using an overbearingly condescending tone of voice. Then without bothering to wait for what they has to say in return, Chloe took her leave. But not before beckoning to me.
"Come on, let us leave them be."
That was what she told me and right after saying those words, Chloe proceeded to jump at the rooftop of the building closest to us.
