Chapter 4 - Going out

Greg wakes up from his slumber, it's still bright, he checks the floor and the hobgoblin's body no longer to be found.

"Where's the body? how could I check the loot now?"

a loud "ding" sound was heard.

and a tab appeared

by just going to the spot where the body was last found and the tab will show.

"I am beginning to feel like this is no longer real life but a game instead." Greg scratched his head and then walks toward the body.

A tab appeared in front of him.

Greg clicked the tab and the rewards once again were surprising.

"Finally an agility stat." Greg sat down on his bed.

Pick a reward

There was one reward that seems different than the one he have seen so far, the name was colored in Green.

Increases your stamina and give you a slight immunity to certain debuffs and diseases.

Inflicts a bleeding debuff on the wound caused by the knife itself, and it'll last as long as the wound is not healed.

Bleeding: Reduces the effectives of healing products by 10%

Skill: Slash.

"These are terrible choices except for that ring." Greg immediately picked the ring and equipped it on his ring finger.

"How about I try going out and walk around the neighborhood, I might find trustworthy people."

45 minutes later.

"There you go," After Greg covered his mouth with a scarf made by his late mother, he then picks up his bag that's contained of food and water, in case he might find someone.

Greg then walks out of his house and walks around the neighborhood for about half an hour but he couldn't find a single soul.

"This is a complete waste of time, maybe going solo might be the best option right now. Just completely forgot about what happened with Mark." he then walks towards his house.

As Greg gets home he finds 6 zombies in the way.

"A test of my ability, I see." Greg immediately dropped his bag.

The zombies heard the loud thud of the bag and dragged themselves towards Greg's direction.

"They way they walk disgusts me." Greg takes out his Enhanced Knife.

One zombie ran towards him but Greg kicked its leg down making it trip, fell down and hits its head.

SPLAT! was heard.

"Their skulls are that brittle? Might as well use a rock." Greg runs towards the remaining 5 zombies.

Greg immediately stabbed one zombie's head and beheaded the other one with the [Left swing] skill making it three left.

"even slimes are better than this, though I don't wanna jinx that." Greg then walks slowly towards the remaining 3.

The zombies ran quickly towards him but one fell down making it only two zombies running towards Greg.

Greg beheads the two zombies and crushes the last zombie with a stomp.

"Phew, that was easy." Greg wiped the sweat of his forehead and then clicks the tab.

Only apply on boots.

Increases your maximum speed by 1%

"Only one choice? Okay then." Greg takes the paper and places it in his pocket then proceeds to go home.
