**Narrator's point of view**
As they stood there, the three of them, none of them could've known how the following decisions they made, would impact their lives. How could they know?
From the reflection in Peter's eyes, stood a worried woman, whose heart belonged to someone who hated himself for letting her give it to him. A few feet away from her stood a man, whose only concern was, how he'd feel if he let her go.
He knew it was the right thing to do, he absolutely did. And he wanted to do good, and more importantly, be good. But how can something be good, if it doesn't include her in his life? Was he selfish, because he wanted her to stay? Was she senseless, because she wanted the same thing?
