Lex awoke from one of the worst night he had ever had.
'I feel so sore everywhere, I can't wait to sleep in an actual bed!' Lex thought to himself as he imagined a comfortable fluffy bed that he could sink into.
Lex remained in the company of the bodies for just a little while longer to ensure that no Skeletons were passing by.
In one swift motion, he picked up both shortswords and threw the body he had on top of him off. Lex stood there for a few moments looking around just in case he had to fight a nearby Skeleton.
'Good, there's none near me.' Lex thought as he let out a relieved sigh, 'I need to get out of this place, I won't be able to sleep there another night.' Lex realised as the pile had gotten a little smaller than it was last night.
'WAIT! Don't tell me one of them was alive!!' Lex thought with his head almost standing perfectly upright on his head from fear.
After a while of thinking, he realised that there would be no way that an Adventurer faked their death for that long. 'They probably fed him to the Dungeon Boss as an offering, creepy stuff.' Lex thought as he felt a chill run down his spine.
He needed to get out of here as soon as possible and that meant he needed to kill everyone inside the outer Dungeon.
'I don't have a kill counter as I would in the game, so this might be annoying.' Lex thought as he walked away from the bodies that he now smelt like.
---
8 Hours later Lex had killed a ton of Skeletons and the only thing that was killing him was his stomach due to him not having any more food.
Lex had levelled up twice and in the process, he added three points into his Wisdom, two into his Agility and one into Strength.
Strength: 22 (12+10) [+]
Agility: 17 (11+6) [+]
Wisdom: 10 [+]
'That's nice to look at, all my stats are now over ten!' Lex thought with a satisfied smile, he almost finished the quest he had too he only needed to kill one more Skeleton Knight.
Lex walked aimlessly walking around looking for Skeletons to kill until he found an odd room. 'What is this place?' He thought as he walked into what seemed to resemble a Boss room.
The ground had a circular geometric pattern that filled up most of the room and extending from that pattern were bricks that travelled across the walls towards the ceiling until they met up in the centre. The walls depicted a Skeleton Knight fighting what seemed to be a Giant Skeleton.
Lex read about their ferocious battle until he reached the end of the wall where a crater took the place of the last few images.
'Someone got angry at this story, no doubt it was the loser. Knowing who the loser was would probably give me an advantage against them.' Lex thought to himself while scratching his chin.
The corners of the room were covered in an eerie void, Lex couldn't even see the corners of the room yet imagine going anywhere near them.
Once Lex reached the centre of the room he could hear the Dungeon groan.
Lex looked back at the arch where he entered from, 'WHAT!' Lex thought as he started a full-speed sprint towards the door.
He reached entrance as it closed in on itself, 'Damn! What the hell!!' Led thought as he pounded on the door trying to open it.
As he went to strike again he heard the Dungeon groaning once more.
At that moment Lex remembered about a so-called loot room that was talked about on forums for the game. One post said that they experienced a room full of loot that seemed to appear out of nowhere. All they did was enter the room and loot seemed to appear of out nowhere.
Many players thought this was a joke as they never experienced something like this, a popular explanation was that a rouge with invisibility cleared the dungeon as they entered the boss room.
Lex was extremely sceptical he would really appreciate it if this forum myth was true especially with the situation he was in.
Lex looked towards the opposite side of the room, a wall that didn't seem too odd was lowering itself revealing an eerie void similar to the corners of the room.
Deep inside of the void, Lex could see a silhouette.
Before Lex saw his opponent he saw the message in the centre of his screen.
