Prince raised his hand stopping Lei.
"I have…. no intentions of fighting you." He said dropping his head.
"Unfortunately You are correct, if I convince her to join me now… she will inevitably be used against me, and be put in unnecessary danger. I fear I've done that too many times already. I just want to say goodbye, if you will allow that." Prince said solemnly
Lei dropped his guard completely, unbelieving what he heard. "He truly is an extraordinary man." He thought.
Placing his arms around the princess gently, Prince whispered into her ear softly as he could.
"Ying…" He began holding her tight. "I'm sorry for everything I've put you through. I'm sorry for everything I've done. I knew it was too good to be true, a fairy tale with a happily ever after… I was foolish to believe I could do such things.
"Don't sayt that" Ying said as tears flooded from her eyes. "I still believe in you! I still believe in us!"
