Linda's POV
Seeing him, it's like all the anger within me melts away. I forget all about my troubles with Nikon.
He seems to have calmed down.
" Can I talk to you? " he asks softly.
" Sure but can we talk outside? " I don't want anyone intruding on our discussion. "
" Tired of all the guards, watching you right? " he laughs quietly.
" You can't even begin to imagine " I say, heaving a sigh.
We head out, ignoring the eyes of the guards on us. I notice that today there are more female guards than we usually have around the estate.
I and Luke go to where we engage in combat training. He helps me climb on the lowest branch of the tree and then sits next to me.
