I sit in my Honda contemplating if I should go to work or not. That spineless brat is creeping me out. I decide to call Jack.
" hey man , are you there yet? " Jack asks sounding breathless.
" No I'm still contemplating if I should go over there."
" I thought we already talked about this last week. What's got you changing your mind?"
I pause for a while as serious as this might be, it's still embarrassing. " she smirked at me."
There is silence at the other side of the line even the sound of the mower in the background is turned off.
" you want to freaking quit your job because some Miss goody two shoes smirked at you?! " Jack yells at me.
" when you say it like that you make me sound like a coward."
" ain't you? "
" you've got to be kidding me . I am not a coward."
" accept it you're a yellow tailed dog. "
