We also take cover wherever we can as we shoot trying to make sure that none of us get hit by a bullet.
I'm almost out of bullets. I turn to look at the others and they seem to be doing well. Thankfully, no one has gotten shot.
I run out of bullets a few seconds later as does Leah.
Almost like a procession, Esperanza follows suit.
The boys start to yell at us to find somewhere to hide in the store but I can't leave them behind.
If I'm leaving, then so are they.
One of our guards raises his head to shoot again but gets shot instead.
