Charlotte, Madison, and I are talking by the pool. My cellphone rings and I answer it. It is my ex-girlfriend Isabelle, that I left at home to take this new Detective job. She says that she wants to talk things out and that she is currently in Los Angeles. We set up a meeting at Blue Addicts restaurant. As Isabelle walks into the restaurant, she starts crying as she can see my injuries.
Isabelle comes closer to me, I stand up and walk to her as she is crying. I tell her;
"Sit Isabelle, there is nothing to cry about"
I sit opposite her. She looks at me and cries again. I look at her and say;
"You are not a crying person and now you are trying to convince me that you care? Drop the act, please. I am here, so talk"
She wipes the tears off her face and says;
