I left him lying in bed because I promised myself that I will not get involved with another man at work. Now, he is living with me, and I am giving him mixed signals...I am so confused about what to do. So, I went to the pier to clear my head, just to try and make sense of everything. I sit down, looking at the sunrise light shimmering on the waves. I close my eyes, just soaking in the peacefulness of the scenery.
TOM POV
As I am lying on my bed, wondering what just happened. I try to get up quickly and stop her, but I have this sudden pain in my side, it is so bad that it feels like someone has just shoved a knife into my side. I have to make things right, I should never have listened to Ashley. Shit, I have to stop her, I have to talk to her. As I open my room door, I hear the front door slamming.
