Red entered into the overgrowth of hydrangeas and slowly walked in opposite directions with Ari as per instruction of the herald.
She had noticed the dark aura of the labyrinth and there was something in the air that sent prickling sensations crawl under her skin. She rubbed her nearly bare shoulders and cursed herself for actually wearing something so thin.
The laces of her sheer sleeve did only so little to keep her warm that she had to conjure her own fire to keep herself from freezing.

With a circular flick of her wrists, Red summoned fire that suspended around her like a circle of protection. It also served as illumination since the tall hedges of the hydrangea blocked every sliver of light that the golden moon shone throughout the kingdom.
