The name resounds familiarity to Red and she had to blink twice as she racked her brains where and when she had heard of it. Was it Kleister who mentioned it? Or perhaps Ari or Archer?
She can't quite remember.
"Come on now. I am only here to show you something that will make you understand better what you are up against." He said as he descended slowly down the stepping stones.
"Are we going to fight the Darkling then?" she asked. Her feet buckled and she felt a certain type of dread that didn't want to leave her.
"No, silly girl. You wouldn't stand a chance against the Darkling with your current state." The black cat chuckled. "This is only a vision of what had been. A glimpse of the past if you might say."
