Chapter 72 - Powers of the Black Cat

Sensing that Euphie's situation wasn't normal, Sir Arthur dashed to get Dorothy's attention in the middle of the night.

Dorothy awoke to incessant scratching and meowing and immediately went out of her bedchamber as she realized it was Sir Arthur's cries. The cat never did cry out after Euphie took him in, and his cries meant only one thing - danger.

When Dorothy came to look at Euphie's state, the young elfen lady was now pale as snow and cold as ice. She had sweat profusely and her breath came in short gasps. She had her eyes shut and sometimes spoke in an unknown language.

Out of panic, Dorothy didn't know what to do and it took her quite some time to realize she needed to call for help. This wasn't any ordinary nightmare already. It was tormenting Euphie like it wanted her dead.
