Stella Marie pulled at Nickolai's sleeve and then whispered, "Let's go Nickolai. I have said my piece." The little girl looked back at Ari and then her voice echoed in his head, 'Convince her elfen warrior, encourage her to take action.'
Nickolai looked at Red and Ari, and the elfen saw something different about him.
The light faey, for the very first time that Ari saw him do it, actually bowed down and pat him on the shoulder without a hint of his usual playful and half-hearted gestures, "Tell Red that she has us when she needs anything."
Nickolai's words were so sincere that Ari almost choked with disbelief. It was as if the light faey never toyed nor teased them before like they were trash lower than him.
Ari's mouth dropped and he saw them off as they walked away to inspect the box wherein Krygsto was contained.
Stella Marie clung to Nickolai's neck and he lowered her as she tried to peer in closer at the daemon temptress.
