The herald announced Red as the winner of the fourth trial but she felt like she didn't actually deserve the win. Stella Marie had something planned and it seemed like Red was running around in circles within the palm of the child's devious games.
What was she going on about?
A queen of fire who will defeat the darkness? Had she meant the darkness being the Darkling?
"Did you ever think of how Stella Marie and Nickolai are so overpowered and… I don't know. cunning?" Red mused over, her turquoise eyes calculating the facts that was laid out to her with other coincidences that were happening.
Ari furrowed his brows and thought of the idea.
"You know, Ari. It wasn't me who found the blue cap. Stella Marie led me to it, pointing out that somewhere above the second level where we met, there was a red cap that was hiding."
"I was lacking one red cap and she knew I wasn't going to join the chaos of the evil buggers attacking Serena and Terra below."
