~Natalia
My head felt as if it was being used as a drum for six months straight. My body was on fire, and I felt so week.
Zayn and Ash had left to do something, and Dariel was at school doing who knows what.
"Mason!" I called. He obviously couldn't hear me because my voice was weak as well.
I stood up and almost collapsed. I didn't bother to change or fix my hair. I walked down the hallway, leaning against the wall.
"Mason!" I called out. There was the sound of distant rumbling, and then Mason was in front of me.
He swore, resting his hand on my forehead. "You're burning up," he said.
He wrapped an arm around my waist and guided me to the living room. He placed me on the couch and pulled the blanket over my body. I whined and took it off.
"It's hot," I pouted. He sighed and left the room, only to return with a bottle of medicine.
"Natalia, I need you to take this," he said sternly. I shook my head.
"Blue raspberry is nasty," I whined.
"Natalia, I said I need you to take your medicine."
"Nope," I said, shaking my head.
"Don't make me punish you," he said, smirking.
"No!" I shouted. He rolled his eyes.
"Alright, so take your medicine," he said a bit softer. I shook my head stubbornly.
"Nope," I said, making sure I popped the p.
"Well, you asked for it," he said, and lifted me, only to put me across his legs.
"What are you doing?" I asked confusedly.
"You, babygirl, are getting your punishment," he said sternly.
And before I knew it, there was a hard slap against my behind. I whimpered.
"I need you to count for me, babygirl," Mason said.
I nodded.
"What did I tell you about words?" he demanded.
I sighed. "Yes, Mason."
Then came another slap.
"Two," I said, tears forming in my eyes.
There was another slap, making me sob.
"Th-three," I said, my voice cracking.
"Good girl," Mason cooed. He lifted me and I winced at the pain in my behind.
"It hurts," I whined. Mason sighed.
"Can you take your medicine now?" he asked.
I nodded, but then said, "Yes, Mason."
He smiled at me and brought the liquid to my lips.
"Since you don't like it, just gulp it down quickly," he said.
He tipped the small cup and I gulped it all down, making a constipated face.
"That's gross," I said, shaking my head. Mason chuckled and kissed my cheek.
"Well, at least you'll feel better," he said. I yawned and snuggled into him.
"Are you tired, baby?" he asked softly. I nodded.
"Alright, let's get you to bed."
He carried me to my bedroom and pulled the blankets over me. He placed a kiss on my forehead and was about to leave when I asked, "Can you sleep with me?"
He blushed and nodded. Snuggling into the covers, the bed dipped. Soon after, an arm wrapped around my waist, and my back was against his chest.
"Sleep, babygirl," he said soothingly.
A few minutes later, my breathing deepened, and I was asleep.
