Chapter 9 - Going Home

~Natalia

I G O T I N T O Zayn's car and fell on the seat. I guess I was weaker than I thought. "Are you ok, cupcake?" he asked in concern. I shook my head and sat down properly. "Sleep, baby. You need your rest."

With that, I fell asleep on Mason's shoulder.

- 30 minutes later -

Groggily opening my eyes, I looked around.

We arrived at a gorgeous-looking home.

"It's beautiful," I said in awe.

Dariel chuckled and helped me out of the car.

I couldn't help but gape. "Princess, I suggest you close your mouth before you catch flies," Ash teases. I pout and walk up to Zayn. He smirks at me. I bow my head and walk over to Mason. He gives me a gentle smile, which causes me to smile back brightly.

"Can you carry me?" I ask, still smiling. He nods and blushes.

He's so cute. He picks me up and I snuggle into him, breathing in his scent of cologne. Holy, he smells really good. I take another whiff of him, which causes my insides to flutter. He stills, and I peer up at him. His eyes were darker than they were before-

"Why are your eyes dark?" I ask curiously. "Are you a vampire! Oh my gosh! I love vampires. Oh! I love the vampire diaries too. You never know who really is one," I say, smiling. He laughs loudly, causing the rest of the boys to stop and look our way.

Dariel coos at how adorable I look, causing me to blush and bury my head in Mason's neck like before.

Mason rubs my back in soothing motions, causing me to sigh in contempt. I didn't realize that I had dozed off until Mason was waking me.

"Baby, it's time to get up. We have to show you your room and go shopping," he says. I nod and he leads the way. Someone taps my shoulder, causing me to look back. I see Ash smirking, and Dariel beside me. "Where's Zayn?" I ask. "Miss me, cupcake?" he asks, holding a hand over his heart. I slap his bicep. "No," I say, looking away.

He picks me up, and I'm staring right into his beautiful eyes. "Are you sure?" he asks, his tome low. I gulp and use my hair as a shield to cover the blush covering my cheeks. "Don't hide from me, sweetheart," he says huskily. I nod my head.

"Use your words, cupcake," he says in a dominating tone. "Yes, sir," I reply automatically. He stiffens, as do the other guys.

"Let's go to her room," Mason says, clearing his throat.

Tears of happiness fill my eyes. "It's gorgeous," I say, my voice breaking.

Ash wraps an arm around my shoulder, and I cry into him. "Don't cry, princess. This is for you."

I place a soft kiss on his cheek, blushing. He gives me a soft smile, which he rarely does. "Ha! I got a kiss from her and you guys didn't," he says in a sing-song voice. I chuckle.

Dariel pouts and asks, "can I have a kiss too, love?" I nod my head and walk over to him, but someone's arm stops me from doing so. "No can do, bro. She's mine," Ash says playfully.

I step out of Ash's reach and kiss Dariel on the cheek. He gives me a cheeky smile, while I turn as red as a tomato. "You're adorable," he says, placing a few pieces of hair behind my ear.

I look down at the floor and mutter a soft thank you. He chuckled and wraps his arm around my waist. "Well, it's time to go shopping-"

"Wait!" I blurt out. They all look at me. "Can I get to know you guys first? I mean I love all of the things you guys are doing for me, but I really don't know you guys and-"

"Of course, love," Dariel says.

Heading into the living room, we play the game 20 questions and I learn quite a lot about them.

"Okay, last questions," I say. "What is your favourite food to eat?" Dariel, Zayn and Mason groan while Ash does a happy dance. "Did I say something wrong?" I ask confusedly.

Zayn chuckles. "No, cupcake. It's just that Ash loves to rant about his favourite food whenever he gets the chance." "Oh," I say casually.

"Can I please answer?" Ash asks. He bounces up and down on the couch. I laugh at how childish he looks. "Go ahead," I tell him.

He gives me a big smile. "My favourite food is... BREAD!" he says excitedly.

I give him a weird look before bursting into laughter.

"Have you guys ever had bread? Like holy shit! It's soooo good! And the smell... don't even get me started," he says, running around the couch. I laugh so much I get stomach cramps.

"Do you like bread?" he asks seriously. I look up and realize everyone is looking at me. "Me?" I ask, pointing to myself. He nods.

I smile at him. "Yeah, I like bread," I say. He looks up at me as if he was a five-year-old kid and he just met Santa Claus. "Oh my gosh! Really!" he says, running up to me. He lifts me and spins me around, causing me to laugh as well.

"Are we gonna go shopping or what?" Zayn asks harshly. Ash glares at him while tears swell up in my eyes. What did we do? "Fuck off, asshole," Ash says angrily. Zayn looks at me and his expression softens when he sees the tears in my eyes.

"I'm sorry, cupcake. I didn't mean to be so harsh," he says sincerely. I nod and look back at Ash who still looks angry. I tap his shoulder, causing him to look at me. I place a small kiss on his cheek, and he smiles.

"Well, you heard him. Let's go shopping," Ash mutters.
