Jason tightened his grip on the sword he held. " come what may, I am prepared" he said. The Hydrocerons began to encircle him with a somewhat smug look on their faces.
"Jason, get out of there" shouted Heron, on his own, he might be able to take care of this beasts, of course with some injuries, but he still wasn't sure if his brother, coupled with the fact that there was a mother Hydroceron. " Curse you mother earth" Heron said visibly worried.
Jason turned his face, and turned all attention and focus on the Hydrocerons.
ROAR!!!
The horde of Hydrocerons rushed towards Jason together except for the mother Hydroceron.
"Damn!" Jason cursed, he didn't expect all of them to rush at him all at once. He thrusted his sword forward while doing a forward roll, this was possible since the water was very shallow. This way, he avoided the first Hydroceron while piercing the next one.
SNAP!
His sword broke into two, " What!!" Jason shouted , "how" he asked stupefied. He struck the wrong spot, 'The apex scaled neck of a Hydroceron'. It was a strong as anything, of course he didn't know because he lacked training.
" What the heck.." said Heron, " how could you make such a stupid mistake? " he continued while making his way towards the swamp slowly.
With no time to answer Heron, Jason straightened himself up, and went in for another stab. In the twinkle of the eye, he was swept off his feet by the mother Hydroceron's large tail.
"Argh"
Jason coughed out blood" This is a lot more harder than I thought it would be" he said.
" Come on bro, give me your hand" Heron said, he had already come close to Jason successful. Before Jason could raise his hand, a Hydroceron jumped towards Heron, and engaged him in a fight.
Jason got up immediately and ran, raising his legs up, he suspended himself mid air for some seconds, and lashed out two daggers towards a Hydroceron. The Hydroceron raised it's tail in an attempt to tie Jason up, and chew him up, but Jason fully aware allowed himself to fall. The tail of the Hydroceron whizzed past his head, he stabilised himself on the Hydroceron back and prepared to stab it's abdomen.
"Argh"
He was flung away into another part of the swamp with his body covered with blood.
"Jason" Heron cried out, seeing his brother flung away wasn't a good sight for him.
"I think I'm okay" Jason said. He felt his eyes go heavy, and he began to see double, no triple, no.... darkness.
"I AM JUDAIS" A calm gentle but tough voice said in Jason's mind.
" Who the hell are you?" asked Jason
" One with you, your strength lies within, a bond which can never be broken" The voice replied to his question.
" I don't understand" Jason said persistently
" GO" The voice came louder.
Jason was pushed outside of his mind to see himself tied up by the tail of a Hydroceron about to be pushed into it's mouth.
" No way", he shouted. He connected his hands with the jaws of the Hydroceron and like the legend Samson, after a brief struggle tore it's mouth. His hands were bloody, and no matter how much he tried to be shocked, he just didn't feel shocked.
He saw that his brother just finished killing two Hydrocerons, he rushed towards the mother Hydroceron " what a foolish Idea he thought" but he kept running forward. The mother Hydroceron looked unconcerned as it raised it's tail, and swung it .
Startled at the Hydroceron's response, he raised his legs, and thrusted his sword into it's tail, and used the swing to increase his momentum and landed on it's back. This was the blind spot of a Hydroceron.

" How the hell did you do that?" Heron asked while they walked back. Jason held the dead Mother Hydroceron and dragged it as they walked.
" I don't know, I just felt a profound strength come upon me, but I've not felt it again" he said
" I don't understand you brother" Heron said " Let's forget about this" he added." besides, we are very late"
Jason stopped suddenly, and his eyes caught something " Is that a ....." he said.
