When Nick woke up , it was already 10am next morning. He looked around and saw the familiar room where he slept yesterday and sighed in relief thinking that all those things that happened last night wasn't a dream . He still couldn't believe that he crossed over.
Then he got up , brushed his teeth , and took a shower. After that he went down and cooked a simple english break fast containing bread and omelette with a cup of coffee. once he was done with his breakfast , he planned to ask akio to register his quirk . Before that he called sarah ,"Hey sarah,good morning,can you show me my status?" he asked.
Sarah greeted him back and opened his status.An interface appeared before his eyes,

After seeing his status , nick decided to train harder and become stronger.' First I need a proper training schedule, then I need nutritious food to supplement my body with enough nutrients and, finally a proper trainer to teach me hand to hand combats. Food is not the problem I have enough money in the bank,that my parents left me . Getting a good trainer is difficult'.
While he was in his thoughts, he heard his home's main door opening and immediately went toward the door.
Akio went inside nick's house and was shocked to see nick standing infront of him with a slight smile on his face and greeting him,"Good morning uncle akio".
Even though nick's sudden change shocked akio , he was happy that nick came out of his depression and happily greeted him back " Good morning Nick kun, did you have your breakfast?", he asked
Nick nodded his head and sat down on the couch . Akio also followed him and sat down. Then he looked at nick who was looking at him like he has something that he wanted to tell him, " Tell me nick , from the look on your face you wanna ask something right?" he smiled gently and asked.
Nick nodded and said , "Yes akio san,I think I awakened my quirk and I wanted you to help me with the registration of my quirk in the city hall".
Akio was once again shocked after hearing him but, soon he calmed down, usually people awaken their quirk at the age of 4 but there are special cases where people awaken their quirk when they are affected by strong emotions, 'may be he awakened his quirk due to being extremely sad because of his parents death', he thought.
" ok, nick we can go to City hall and register your quirk now,if you are ready" akio smiled at nick.
Nick immediately got and walked in to his room to get ready and came back with in5 mins. He was a little excited to see what the 2D world which he read through the books looks like.
After that , both of them left the house and went towards the city hall in akio's sports car. And to tell about akio's job , he is a famous lawyer with lots of rich clients and connections. Nick's father and akio were friends from the childhood and akio was actually nick's godfather.
Nick was looking at the outside world curiously while enjoying his ride on the sports car ,which he can only dream about in his past life. The world here is not much different from his previous life, except there are many buildings going under reconstruction here and there, may be because of constant attacks by the villains. Nick lives in Musutafu, the same place where the plot happens. And nick confirmed with sarah that he is same age as Izuku Midoriya and there are still 9 years for the plot to begin. so the thought of becoming powerful became stronger and stronger.(A/N : For star wars fans out there , The term Musutafu was actually named after the planet Mustafar from star wars).
They reached the city hall soon and after some checkups , they confirmed that nick has indeed awakened his quirk and his quirk is water manipulation which is quiet powerful. Yes , he didn't hide his potential as he planned earlier. He decided this after some thoughts. There actually three reasons why he changed his mind,
One - To get a powerful trainer he needs to show his potential first, it's not easy to train by yourself to become stronger because he was just an ordinary guy in his past life
Two - He doesn't need to be scared of villains as he thought before since his uncle akio is quiet rich and has a lot of connections , it will make the villains to atleast think before they make some moves.
The third and also the main reason is that he doesn't wanna be low-key or a coward, even though he was just an ordinary guy in his past life .And you may think he became arrogant because he got his powers, but actually after crossing over, his soul became more powerful and after hearing about his ancestor being an immortal who once saved the god , he developed a little pride that only belongs to immortal, maybe this was in his blood all along but it didn't show up due to his past life circumstances. But since he got the system, he now decided to become the strongest and for that he needs to show his pride and confidence. it's not like he doesn't know when to retreat, it would be stupid to go and fight All for one with his pride. He still knows his limits
After registering,they had lunch at a famous five-star hotel for celebrating his quirk awakening. Then akio spent some time with him and left nick in his house saying that he got some urgent work to do.
At home , in the evening, Nick wore his track suit and went out for jogging. After running for a while , he went to the park near by and started doing push-ups and pull-ups. It was difficult but with his powerful soul which gave him a strong willpower , he persisted and did 50 push-ups and 50 sit-ups which was lot for his age . Then he rested for sometime and did a sprint back to his home.
