"Ah !! Ouch! ssii! Oh that hurt" groaned Emilia who had just fallen from an unknown height straight to the ground.
"Damn what the hell" she cursed as she vigilantly looked around . Everywhere she turned there were trees with no visible way out. As she turned around her eyes landed on a lake not too far from her.
After seeing that there was no threat to her any where around her Emilia got up and wanted to move out to find the exit only for a sharp pain to come from her leg."Sii!" Looking down her leg was bleeding and she was clearly injured from when she fell. Opening her backpack and cleaning up the wound with some water she had with her, Emilia wrapped her leg up before she got up and began moving again. Even though it did pain her earlier it wasn't enough for her to be paralised. After leaving in the apocalypse simple wounds like these were more of a joke. If one couldn't move with such a small would wouldn't you become food for zombies. One has to know that the second sense the zombies develop once they reach level one is smell and they can smell blood from a mile away so if you sat there and cried you would be a goner.
Emilia walked for almost four hours in the those trees in all directions only to be sent back to the starting point once she entered a spacial warp thinking it's an exit only to be sent back to the lake. After doing this five times Emilia began feeling hungry. Sitting on the grass frustrated Emilia tore into the last sandwich she had trying to find out a solution.
"Where In the world am I" she chewed out. She clearly remembers that there is not supposed to be any lake anywhere near where she was so how did she end up right in front of such a big one.
"Since I came in here through a tree shouldn't the tree be the exit?I need to find a way out quickly. I can't be stuck in here , not only am I supposed to meet my family in a few hours what will happen to little Qin if I don't get out.?! The apocalypse is just around the corner how could this happen to me now.!" Emilia complained.
'And what the hell was up with that tree anyway ? Trees are not supposed to do that, but neither am I supposed to be alive though. Don't tell me that my rebirth caused this?! I should have just stayed on the farm with everyone else why did I have to be so inquisitive. I clearly know that curiosity killed the cat so why did I make myself the cat ah !' she thought grumpily as she finished off her sandwich. Once done she lifted up her bottle to drink some water only to realize that she had already finished all her water cleaning up her wound and also drinking it while she was trying to find an exit . Sighing Emilia could only get up and head over to the lake to get some water. As she approached the lake only then did Emilia realise how clear and beautiful it was. Honestly if Emilia wasn't trapped here she would probably like this place very much. With all the trees and this lake this place was actually very breathtaking. It was a bummer that this place was now her cage. No matter how beautiful a cage is ,it is still a cage. Cursing as she looked at her messy reflection from the water Emilia bent down to scoop some water to drink. She placed her hands in the water only to realize that they couldn't come back out. Emilia began to panick, she couldn't pull her hands out and when she tried using more force to pull them out, her body was pulled in instead. Underwater, Emilia tried her best to fight of the pressure coming from the lake but she couldn't. It was so heavy she couldn't move all she could feel was her body continuing to sink deeper. Once her breath finished her mouth uncontrollably opened to try and take in oxygen only for water to begin entering. Feeling the burning pain in her chest despair filled her eyes. She came to realise that no matter how she fought, she wouldn't be able to escape death for the second time .
' AM I really going to die again? But why I don't want to die yet. What about little Qin, mom , dad , big brother and Ling Xiao, I haven't even met him again. Why is life so unfair and things were going so well too.'
This was the last thought Emilia had before everything went black.
With her awareness gone Emilia wasn't able to see the transformation happening to her body. Glowing green vines came up fro the bottom of the see to wrap around her. While doing so some of her blood was drained out of her body.
Her skin turned whiter as impurities left her body. Her bones were remolded and they became stronger and whiter. Her muscles became stronger with her body as well and she grew a little taller as well and her hair that reached her back grew long enough to touch her butt.

A few hours passed before Emilia woke up. Sitting up and gasping for air Emilia was caught off guard when she realised she was back at the tree.
Looking around and seeing no trees, big hills and no lake Emilia was struck . She picked up her phone to check the time only to realize that only an hour had gone by. "
"But how is that possible I'm pretty sure I was in there for five hours at least. And shouldn't I have died, don't tell me that was all a dream?!" She asked puzzled to no one in particular.
After repeated checks and seeing nothing wrong with her body Emilia finally wrote it all of as a dream.
Seeing that there was nothing around the mountains worth anything Emilia decided to head back to the farm. She didn't realise that the moment she left the tree she had been leaning on started to disappear as well as the little blue flower that appeared right above her collar bone looking like a natural necklace.
