"Was the name written on that tablet, Alia?" Leander asked as he smiled. But a smart person can see that it was a smile, yet not quite a smile.
Behind that smile was a threat. A threat meant for those people not smart enough to see and know what's good for them.
Even his friends were feeling a chill at the back of their neck whenever he showed that kind of smile. What's more if it's not those who were asked to look at the name?
Of course, aside from feeling the chill, their bodies started shivering.
They're not the type of person who bullied others or the kind that finds troubles for others, and be happy about others misfortune, but they can't help but feel that they wronged someone by the way Leander looked at them!
Setting that aside, they feel so wronged! But alas! They can't do anything about this.
Alia watched all of this with a calm expression, but deep inside, she can't help but shiver. She was affected by that guy's expression. Added to that was his action of helping her, which was really unexpected.
Even if it would take a bit longer than how he did it right now, she can defend and save herself from these people's accusations on her own, but since he stepped in, then let him be.
She can still eat her strawberry pudding!

Kara was fuming mad when she saw Alia smile. She almost ruined her calm outside appearance. Good thing, Alex reminded her to calm herself.
How could that loathsome girl escape this?! And why would those stupid guys help her?!

Everyone focused on the matter at hand as Leander spoke again, with his smile that wasn't quite a smile still plastered on his face.
"Do I have to repeat myself again?"
The people in question, all shivered yet again, but still answered ' No, it wasn't the name I read' simultaneously.
They almost sighed in relief, when Leander yet again asked another question, " Are you sure?"
"Yes!" They hurriedly confirmed in chorus as if when they answered the question a second later, they would be punished and be beaten by the person asking them.
This time, they didn't plan on sighing in relief immediately. Instead, they held their breath in anticipation. They don't want to celebrate too early like what they've done earlier, afraid that their school prince would interrogate them yet again.
And like how synchronized they have answered the second question, they heave a sigh of relief in unison when they see Leander nod his head.
Their reaction to Alia, was a comical one. It was as if they were chased by someone and were on the brink of their last line of life, but were all released suddenly by their chaser.
"Did everyone hear them?" Alia's attention came back to reality once Leander's voice was heard again.
"...yes!" Most of the students were reluctant to tell this answer, but were still forced to state this, because of fear.
All of them were related to Kara. Whether it's as a friend, classmate, supporter, or all of these three.
But what can they do? Even if they still want to place the blame on someone, what can they do? They all pointed at Alia, but in the end, the 'supposedly' evidence wasn't pointed at her! Of course, they haven't seen it, but those asked to see the name written, all don't have a reason to lie because all of them were known to have a good reputation, even if they weren't popular like Kara or the princes.
Besides, who wants to provoke the most dangerous one among the princes?
Those who want to evoke his anger and make their lives difficult can go themselves! No need for them to get involved. They want to live a good, if not a better nor a best, life. They can't afford Leander Chen's anger and still show a face to their ancestors!
Leander placed both of his arms at his back and commanded everyone present, " Don't blame someone without any evidence. And never mention this incident again! If I heard someone talk about this again, then I won't be polite, understood?!"
Now, upon hearing this, no one dared to slack. They answered yes earnestly, some even nodded their heads. No one dared to say no.
And upon seeing such a scene, Alia was even more glad that she let Leander handle the situation. This ended up really fast! Now, she still has some time to enjoy her pudding! So why would she feel mad?
This was truly a blessing!
Her eyes sparkled at the thought. She even rubbed her two palms together. That's how happy she is!
She's really older inside, but that doesn't mean she can't enjoy her life this time, so why wouldn't she, right?
