To the West of Nepmat, the kingdom of the white elves stand and to the far East, stands the kingdom of the Red. Two brothers ruled the kingdom each, one, a kingdom to reign over. To the West, King Seihon, the older, reigned as a peaceful ruler. While to the East, the younger, King Eriyn ruled.
The Kingdom of the West dwelt on strategic knowledge over might to conquer their enemies. And to the East, King Eriyn believed in potency over wisdom and is always quick to wage war against the adversaries.
Neglecting the fact that King Seihon, the elder, is the rightful heir to the throne, he drew a conclusion and shared the Kingdom of Nepmat between he and his brother equally. But, King Eriyn been hot-tempered, continually sought to procure the Kingdom of The West and have himself crowned as the King of the Elves.
The connection between the two diverse kingdoms was the tower of Babel which stood at the heart of Nepmat, its pinnacle stretched high up the firmaments. It housed the tree of the elves which birth life to the kingdoms of Nepmat. A truce was signed and Babel was made a mutual ground but King Eriyn had other plans. For if he could gain the Tower, then he'd have an upper hand and would prevail in been the sovereign ruler of Nepmat.

King Seihon stood quietly by a table, a sickle and a flower pot sat on it. The pot had earth filled to its brim but nothing sprout out of it.
Eondtan, the Kings' royal adviser walked in. He took a quick scan around the garden and spotted King Seihon at the far Eastern part. He quickened his footsteps towards him, his sandals bore no sound against the glass floor as he threaded upon.
"King Seihon." He called out modestly as he was within hearing range.
King Seihon didn't take his eyes off the pot but instead, rose his finger at Eondtan.
Eondtan kept mute until he got close enough to King Seihon.
"What is it?" King Seihon asked quietly.
The sun radiating through the glass rooftop left a faint glint of rainbow arched at the apex.
"A message from the wisp."
"Which kingdom is visited this time?"
"To the far central lands."
"I see. . .The beast chose to go after the voracious ruins of Euporieus-"
The earth in the middle of the pot stirred up and a bud broke through, bending towards the light.
"-It was as we foresaw it to be." King Seihon picked up a sickle from the table and gave a neat inclined slash at the petiole. The bud fell off the stem.
"What's your strategy of execution my king?"
King Seihon reached his hand into the pot and picked up the little bud. He drew it closer to his face and examined it intently.
"Nothing Eondtan. . .The beast hungers for blood and it wouldn't stop until it's had its fill. But like a hydra, when you cut off one of its head-"
Two new buds grew out the wounded petiole cell and stretched farther, bending its head towards the sunlight.
"-two shall thrive forth."

To the East of Nepmat
King Eriyn sat before the long banquet table. A feast stretched out before him in acknowledgement of his recent kills. The gruesome-looking heads of ill-fated monsters hung up on both sides of the wall, decorated the room in a gory manner. King Eriyn tore into the chunk of grilled meat before him. His furry coat hung up the chair head, its skin draped to the floor. A spectrum coloured the room dully through the mix of full-antique and craquel patterned stained glass windows.
The gigantic oak door creaked open and Xharlor, King Eriyn's general walked in. His left hand held firm the pummel of his sheathed sword.
"My lord-"
The whistling of King Eriyn's sword miss Xharlor by a hair loom interrupted him. He turned sharply and found the sword shovelled deep into the door.
"You know not the value of your life when the beast feeds?" King Eriyn said with a scowl.
"Apologies my Lord. N-news about Euporieus reached the gates of Nepmat."
King Eriyn plucked a limb from the tray and took a huge bite from it. "And what might that be?"
"Euporieus walls have been breached by the North."
A sinister smile crawled up King Eriyn's jaw. "The Great Walls of Euporieus has fallen?!" He guffawed aloud. "A feast and good news on the same day? The East is favoured by Babel." He reached for the wine flask and poured himself a cup.
"What do you intend to do my Lord?"
King Eriyn held his finger up and took a drink from his goblet. He lowered it and let out a sigh of satisfaction. "We send a scout ahead. I wager my gullible brother would do likewise."
"Yes my Lord." Xharlor gave a bow and exited the room.
"Let's see what great fortune awaits us from the ruins of Euporieus." King Eriyn said to himself with a smirk.
