When Ashton and Emily headed to the ground floor, Ashton noticed that the place kinda seemed quiet. Something's telling him not to continue inside because of his weird intuition. Emily noticed that he suddenly stopped so he turned around and said, "Is there something wrong?"
Ashton sighed and said, "Nothing. Let's go." When they saw a group of scientists walking from the opposite direction, they acted normal so they wouldn't find them suspicious. He knows where the kids were hidden so he guided Emily there.
They were very careful and waited for the people to leave the vicinity before entering the rooms to find the kids. On these floors, the experiments were conducted. Ashton knew that they can't carelessly enter the rooms because of the security system so he had to contact Troye to jam it all.
