The sun is about to set and they are still traveling in the sea. They can feel the tension surrounding them as they feel like the time was too slow. Demian would constantly look at the horizon to see if they are near their destination but he couldn't see anything yet.
He badly wants to see his mom and he kept on worrying about her. "We'll save you, mom," he mumbled to himself with his eyes full of determination. "We will make Khaston pay and we will be together again and live a normal life."
All Demian wanted was to have a normal life with his mom and defeating Khaston means reaching that dream. He was staring at the ocean when he felt someone approaching him and he already know who it was.
He sat on the bench as his eyes were fixated on the sea and said, "What do you think awaits us, Emily?"
She was surprised because of what she heard. "Ehh? You know it's me? You haven't even looked at me," she uttered and sat beside him.
