Pharis woke up gasping for air as terror could be traced on her face. She touched her chest as she breathed heavily and her pupils dilated. It appears that she just had a terrible nightmare. She saw her mom, Penelope. In her dreams, choking her to death.
"She's still chasing me even in dreams huh," she mumbled to herself and smirked. She sat on the bed and realized that she's back in their room. "What happened?" she whispered as she scanned the room.
The last thing she remembered was that they were having a battle today. "Did I lose?" she pondered to herself and squinted her eyes as she wondered how she got back here. To have the answer to all of her questions, she stood up to leave the room.
But then, on her way out, she met Mikaella walking around the castle. They both paused and exchanged glances.
"You're awake," Mikaella uttered.
"Obviously," Pharis replied monotonously.
