Maree's pupils dilated as she looked at her father. He's beyond normal as if he's some kind of killer maniac. Then she noticed purple veins popping in his neck down to his arms. "What is wrong with him?" she pondered as her heart beat fast in fear. Then she saw droplets of blood on the tiled floor and noticed it could be from his arm.
"What have you done?" she uttered while her eyes widened yet it seemed like her father didn't hear what she said. He's still glaring at her with his fists clenched. Now she is more sure than ever that her father is going to kill her.
He has gone mad and can't see her as his daughter anymore. So without thinking twice, Maree stood up and ran outside their house. Maree went straight to the gate but she realized it was locked.
