Maree's hands were trembling as she looked around the dark street as is she's looking for someone. She looked into her phone again and saw another message.
"I'm coming," it says. Maree gulped and brushed her hair using her fingers in frustration.
Dazaree noticed that and said, "Are you okay?"
She couldn't answer Dazaree's question. The thing is, Maree's original plan was to meet with Dazaree here tonight but when she saw her in the cafeteria, she couldn't bring herself to give the letter to her.
That is because she hates her dad and she doesn't want to obey him. That was probably Maree's way to get her father to notice her. She wanted to take revenge on him for how he treated her and her mom. That is why she just threw the paper away and left.
